NY Times:                        Wine is So Good, So Good, So Good!

This past month there were three articles in the New York Times about the benefits of wine drinking: Not only is wine beneficial for a healthy heart, it also contributes to your longevity by helping to prevent the diseases of aging, and on top of that, red or white wine also helps prevent the most prevalent type of liver disease! (That last one doesn't seem possible, does it?)

On Saturday, May 24th, special guest winemaker Gregory Barbet of Chateau de la Terriere conducted a tasting of his family's Brouilly and Beaujolais Villages wines and signed bottles as well. We were delighted to meet this charming Frenchman and taste some of the delicious ORGANIC reds his vineyard is producing. He even gave us a souvenir rock from the chateau's terroir. Come in and try some of this  perfect-for-summer wine!

 
Support Your Local Producers: Kiskadee Coffee is roasted right here in Mass by our friend Derek, who really knows his coffee! It's uber-fresh and fabulous, so much better than any chain can offer. Available made-to-order at Derek's store in Hanover, in what we call the Paparazzi Complex. He also serves breakfast and lunch items, and amazing baked goods in a relaxed setting. Highly recommended!

 HAVE YOU BEEN TO BURTON'S GRILL AT DERBY STREET IN HINGHAM RECENTLY? They have the usual great grilled meats and fish, but they have also added a wider range of vegetarian choices as well.
