Inventive seafood restaurant blessed with fine harbor views. Set on the waterfront in the Boston Harbor Hotel, the Sea Grille is decked out in royal blue and white for a crisp nautical look. From the gurgling cod water pitchers to the views of yachts docked on the wharf outside (not to mention planes taxiing at Logan airport in the distance), the Sea Grille says Boston. Sup like a royal sailor on Pilsner-marinated “mariner mussels” or a chunky pan-roasted halibut fillet atop a tangy, yet supremely creamy saffron risotto montecato. In addition to excellent seafood dishes, the solid, satisfying menu sports plenty for meat eaters, though vegetarian options are a bit limited.
