I vist the store on a regular basis. I find the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. The store is well lit clean and very pleasant. I both buy clothing and handbags there and sell my own designer clothing. I bring both of my girls there who always find a bargin. The merchandise is well priced and displayed. I find new merchandise arriving often. I never leave without a bargin and a smile from the friendly staff. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who likes to shop Tj max, marshalls etc but in a more boutique atsmophere with great bargins. They have sales with 50% off store as part of what they do. When I bring my own designer bags and clothing I feel I always get a fair price and they sell very quickly.

I appreciate a good value and this is why I believe in consignment shopping. This set of stores should be avoided. Let's start with the better name, in season store. The store is well layed out generally but the way the sizes are sectioned is backwards. This sizes are not set up in a logical way but in a way in which the sales associate can view the flow from the cash register. Unnerving from the start. Next, I saw items that I knew came from TJ Maxx but they were priced $10+ more than what they would have been new. I went through almost everything in the store and did not see one good value. This stuff was WAY overpriced. Next, let's move onto the End of the Season store. I walked in, and immediately wanted to walk out. It looked like the end of season racks when everything is less than $5 at Kohls because it really is two seasons past the end of the season. Looked as if the store could have been tidied up a bit but the salesperson was too busy chatting on the phone. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and poked around. I had to leave, why waste my time on a day off? The last in this set of stores is on Chestnut St a couple blocks away. Looks decent from the outside and there is parking in front and out back. You walk in and see the dressing rooms at the front - good sized and well lit. The store smelled. A musty, I don't want to buy clothes that might smell like this smell. I moved on thinking this may be the right value fit for me. Mostly junk and probably Kohls, Target, Walmart brands. If you shop these brands, buy them new as you won't get a bargain here. This store also had some earily dark cordoned off section in the back that reminded me of a Goodwill or a Salvation Army. This was creepy. The salesperson was on the phone talking about her former physician with a friend. Let's just say I was embarrassed for her as she sounded like a kook. Glad I finally checked these stores out, wished I hadn't wasted so much time.

Pros: 3 stores to choose from

Cons: Nothing in them that is a value

If you like everything from GAP and Ann Taylor to Gucci and COACH, this place has the best spread of names and really great prices. You should check it out every week! The stuff they have on display changes every day. They actually have not one, but three stores fronts at the same street, one is the main store, one is for dropping off clothes and one is the clearance store. I can NEVER find jeans in my size (long legs, round thighs but no butt) and last week I found not one but two pair that fit great! GAP and Calvin Klein! I loooove this place! The service is cheerful and the owner (who is almost always working...Hi Brenda!) is the sweetest lady...you won't regret stopping by!

Pros: Great service, selection and prices. Super friendly. Great quality and super-cheap!

Cons: Hmm.. well they don't open till 10am I guess that's a con. 9:00am would be nice!

For years, I consigned my clothes and accessories with the original owners of this store and was always pleased at the results. My first time consigning with the new owners was fine (though the computerized list of my items they offered never surfaced), the second time wasn't worth the trouble. The owners/staff are very nice, and though I would shop here, I take my things elsewhere for consignment.

Pros: Variety, Quality, Nice service

Cons: Unresponsive, Slow

I am a shopper and consigner at The Closet Exchange. They have a wide selection for all ages. They also have some high-end designer merchandise. Their standards are high so only quality clothes make it to the store. They also donate what doesn't sell to reputable local charities. The staff is also very nice.

Pros: Good Selection, Courteous Service, Good mark downs

Cons: some out dated styles
