Robert's Salon is pretty inside, but that's about the only thing that is. They are very expensive and the services you receive from there you can get elsewhere for less money. It feels very uptight in there and a wet mop has more personality then the owner. He barely greets me when I walk in there and I had been going in there for a couple of years spending a good amount of money. I have found another salon, their prices are pretty much the same as Robert's, but the atmosphere is 100% better.

I have to be totally honest here, This Salon is a keeper the friendly staff, serene atmosphere and most of all Excellent Custumer Service... If you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience you need to visit Roberts and even ask for him, He worked wonders with my hair down to the very details we discussed and I left feeling like a new woman!!! The reception and shampooing coffee and selection of top magazines, I couldn't have asked for a better place to escape! I love it and I'll definitely be returning there very soon!!! So chweck it out. They do exactly what you want with reasonable prices and the Service like I said is AMAZING!!!

Pros: Plenty of parking 1 to 2 hours, and Macy's is right across the street!

ALWAYS VERY ACCOMODATING, VERY NICE STAFF. THE OWNERS ARE EXTREMELY DEDICATED TO MAKING THE CUSTOMERS FEEL IMPORTANT AND LOOK GREAT. NEVER A PROBLEM TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. FROM THE FRONT DESK STAFF , TO THE STYLISTS YOUR EXPERIENCE HERE WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTING. TRY THEM !!!!

Let me point out my this was my first time at this salon. I was in search for a new colorist. Robert did a fabulous job with my color. It is the best color I have ever had. I am blonde and very particular about my color. Robert was extremely attentive to what I wanted to achieve. He spent time with me dicussing the options, I knew I was in good hands. When he was done, I was totally blown away with the fantastic color he gave me. This is the best my color has ever been. Everyone is extrelmely professional, friendly and just very knowledgeable from the receptionist to the person who shampoos. I was highly impressed with this salon. In my opionion ,this is the best salon in Massachusetts. I will not seek any other salon for color ! Sincerely, Nancy S.

My mom and I have been going to Betty to get our hair done for about 15 years now. She is a great person who we trust to make our hair look beautiful everytime we leave there. She is always current on the trends and techniques and mixes up the perfect color everytime. She listens to what you want and gives her own great ideas so that your hair always looks its best. We are always getting compliments on the fantastic job she does. Upon entering the salon and seeing Ellen, who is always friendly and welcoming and takes care of all you scheduling needs, to leaving, it is always a positive experience. Every 6-8 weeks we always look foward to seeing Betty and the rest of the staff at Robert's Salon!

Recently had a great experience at Robert's Salon-I have been going there for years and always been very pleased when Amy does my hair. I just got married and had Amy do my hair as well as my entire bridal party- not only was she very nice and accomadating but she took extra care with my hair as I can be really picky with how my hair looks. She was fabulous. Robert's is a great salon and I would highly reccommend Amy to anyone.

I had a fabulous experience with Robert from Robert's. I am VERY hard to please when it comes to coloring my hair and had been shopping for a new colorist for some time. Robert not only listened to me but he nailed the color on the first try. I have been trying to get my hair this color for several years. I had visited multiple stylists but no one could deliver exactly what I wanted. I am so happy with the color I brought my friend in the next day and she too loves her new color. I found Robert honest and attentive and talented. I recommend Roberts.

I found this salon by googling best salons in Boston, went in for color, and was really disappointed. I was quoted a different price on the phone, ended up being seen by a different colorist than the one I had the appointment with, and he ended up doing exactly what I asked him not to do in terms of color. He ripped my hair while styling (which is extra - contrary to what i was told on the phone), and basically just dried my hair without any style - I could have done a better job myself. A huge waste of money and time.

I recently saw Amy on a Saturday to get my hair colored and trimmed. She was very nice to talk to, but for some reason she did not put color all the way up to my scalp on the top of my head. I even noticed this while she was doing the application, and requested that she get the crown of my head really well. She brushed off my request and kept doing it the same way, so I decided to trust her. I like the color, but when I got home I realized I still had 1/4" to 1/2" of root on the crown of my head - quite a bit of the ashen brown color of my natural hair is peeking through - especially in my natural part. Very weird. Was she worried that the chemicals would bother my skin? (If so, why would I be getting my hair colored?) Or, was she simply not focused on the task as we chatted (more likely). Anyway, for $175, I feel ripped off - I will have to get the roots done again soon. I will certainly avoid this salon in the future. I am still trying to shake that sinking feeling!

Pros: Nice space, location, good parking

Cons: Very expensive for the quality of work

I had always heard great things about Roberts. I was hesitant to change hairdressers after going to the same one for many years but finally did it. I couldnt be happier with the cut and especially the color. The hairdresser I had (Amy) was very attentive, offered great hair advice and totally understood and did what I wanted. All the surrounding hairdressers where very nice also. I would recommend Robert's (especially Amy) to anyone.
