The only Asian Resturant I have any desire to go to
by DaveOl at Citysearch
I've been completely satisfied with every Dish I've tried, The sushi is awesome, I look foward to tring it all. The service is great, I look forward to go there just to see people that work there, they are very warm and inviting, like family. The House Mia Tia is the Best I've tasted with the Edam's Maki, and the wonderful company, makes me a happy Man, it completes my day.
- Pros: Every dish I've tried is great
- Cons: Its to far from home, but I still go

I stumbled upon Green Tea by accident while having my car repaired in an adjacent shopping center. I got a lunch with short ribs and crab rangoon for less than 8 bucks!!! Service was great, place was clean.... I'll definitly go back.
- Pros: Great Prices
- Cons: Hidden and hard to find
Sushi so good it will make you giddy
by hgilliam at Citysearch
Green Tea is absolutely my favorite Sushi restaurant. I'm sure the other dishes are awesome too but I don't know cuz I can't go there and not eat Sushi. Sonny's creations are beautifull and unbelievably tasty. When the Sushi comes out often I find myself just staring at it for a bit to admire the combination of colors and the presentation. I can't count how many people who "didn't like Sushi" that I've taken to Green Tea and they are now Sushi addicts !! Sonny is an artist and one of the friendliest, kindest and coolest people around. He is always innovating and coming up with new dishes. If you become a regular there you can sometimes get a sneak preview of some new special Sushi roll he is inventing. Sonny's awesomeness is only surpased by Pandora's !! She makes you feel like you've come over to her house for dinner. She is the ultimate hostess !! If you want to impress someone with your Sushi prowess then take them to Green Tea !!
- Pros: incredible food, good parking, not overcrowded
- Cons: far from my house, a little set back off the road so you could miss it

I can't believe I have finally found HOME. When I eat at Green Tea I get such great service I feel like I am at home. And the food. Let me tell you. It's like homecooking. I can't get enough of it. The fresh steamed fish does not compare to the competitions' frozen version. The THREE CUP CHICKEN is an all time fav of mine. I also love the sushi and weekend dimsum. Both chinatown style, har gar, sui mai and taiwanese style--spicy beef noodle soup. My tummy is always happy after a feeding session here. And my heart is filled with the warmth of the pleasant atmosphere and employees. Owners Pandora and Sonny rock!
- Pros: Everything
- Cons: Its not opened 24/7
My favorite Sushi in Greater Boston
by kinggabey at Citysearch
First let me start off by saying that I have a sushi problem. I can't have enough of it. In fact, I just told my girlfriend to pick up some sushi so I'll have some when I get home from work. While I haven't gone to every single one, I've tried out sushi joints as far west as Minado in Natick and as far north as Iron Chef (don't live up to the hype, sadly) in Topsfield. If it has sushi, I will try it. There are a few places that have a strong reputation that I have yet to try, such as Oishii in Chestnut Hill.
That being said, Green Tea is my favorite place to get sushi in the greater Boston area. Sonny, the chef is an artist. The plates he delivers are not only delicious, but they're exquisite visually. The blend of tastes and textures is simply awesome. The staff is all very friendly, very courteous, and the service is wonderful too. Pandora makes sure that you are enjoying your dining experience, and Sonny always comes out to see how you felt about his creations. He is a man who takes pride in his work, and it shows in his sushi.
I've tried sushi in a number of places before. Friends would tell me they'd show me how good sushi is. But not until I went to Green Tea and my brother handed me a spicy tuna hand roll that was I turned. I live in Medford and still trek down just to have Sonny's sushi. It's so good that I find myself licking the plate - sometimes I wonder if he sprinkles something in his sauces.
As an artist Sonny is constantly experimenting, and the result is a variety of special plates that are visually stunning. At Green Tea, it's very common for tables to order identical sushi plates after seeing it delivered to a neighboring table.
Dont forget, Green Tea is a Chinese restaurant. Tasty Mandarin style dim sum, and cantonese, szechuan dishes on the dinner menu. They have a live fish tank, and hands down the best pei pah tofu (deep fried tofu) I've had anywhere. Obviously I can't say enough good things about it because I'm past my quota
- Pros: awesome food, great service, easy parking
- Cons: sushi is expensive, restaurant is too far from me
Sushi like you've never had before
by jjgonson at Citysearch
Green Tea is often, and appropriately, lauded for its Chinese food, but the sushi is the jewel in this out of the way crown. The chef is Chinese born, and French trained. He combines flavors, textures and colors to create sushi that doesn't look or taste like any you've ever tried. Especially good are the Matrix maki, the Lord of the Rings and his special: Superwhite tuna handroll. Make the trip, it's more than worth it
- Pros: unique food, easy to park, not crowded
- Cons: hard to find

This is definetely one of the BEST Chinese Food I've ever had! Specialy the Chinatown-style Special Menus that frequently changes. Don't forget the SUSHI BAR, very tasteful w/ your MAITAI! Cantonese and Mandarian DIMSUM on weekend
- Pros: good service, inexpensive, easy parking
- Cons: small dinning room
