The best place on a snowy night. Wonderful staff, terrific food, and a welcoming atmosphere--what more could you want? The shepherd's pie is amazing. The place always seems full, but with a few tables still available. Highly recommended, especially if you have tourist relatives who want to see a "real" Boston pub.

Finest Pub in Beantown. It truly is a place of hospitality, great food, and where everybody knows your name! In time this homey Pub could replace Cheers!

A Great Irish Pub Experience. There are lots of Irish pubs in the country but few have the sense of community and atmosphere like O'Learys. The crowd was a mix of young and old and everyone in between; locals, occasionals and new customers. It was easy to strike up conversations and the atmosphere was truly a slice of Ireland in Brookline.

The food was good, the service was great and the atmosphere was excellent. We were there on Wednesday night and fortunate to hear the rising star Chloe Pappas perform with Jack Heck and The Elements. It was a night I'll never forget and guarantee I'll go back whenever I'm in Boston.

If you haven't been here yet, you are missing out on life!. This is the best bar in Boston and one of the best I've ever been too. The food is amazing (thanks to the very talented chef Mark,) both in taste and price and the staff are just so friendly. Live music includes: Wed, Jazz & Blues & Standards 9-close; Thur, the local cops play some good tunes in a happy light hearted atmosphere and anyone can join in 9-close, Fri & Sat 9-close, you will find varied acts and Sunday from 7-10PM there is Traditional Irish music.

It is a Redsox bar and you will find passionate Sox supporters there.

There are 2 TV's but they are never on loud and usually just one is on.

The crowd is always a mix of young and old and everyone in between, locals, occasionals and new customers. It's a great place and if you stick around long enough and strike up a conversation, I guarantee you will come back.

This is the bar where 'everybody knows your name.'

Quintessential. Best Pub in Brookline for sure and maybe for Boston! Nice mix of regulars, academics and sports types. Right off the T.

Straightforward Irish pub straddles the Boston-Brookline border and serves up straightforward bar food.. In Short
Located close to Fenway, on the Bookline side of the Boston-Brookline border, O'Leary's is a prototypical Irish pub. A handful of TVs show the Sox game for those who couldn't find tickets, and friendly bartenders and waiters serve up burgers and fish-and-chips with a smile and an Irish brogue. Libation lovers eschew a full bar in favor of one of the 10-plus draught beers on offer.

Irish and Smiling!. Angus, the owner and bartender is by far the best bartender I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Not only does he serve excellent food at his establishment, but the service and guiness are the best I have had in quite a while. With the live music, the pleasant and endearing irish accents, not to mention the delicious food... the place can't be anymore Irish. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
