Cheese steak is bomb!
by Kurtious at Citysearch
Since 5th grade this has been one of my favorite places. This was the place that introduced me to an Italian sub which is my favorite now.
The pizza is really good. In fact, sometimes I like ordering there when its been sitting out because its also really good heated up. It gives it this crispier crust. There is just enough sauce and cheese. The first time I had Santarpios in East Boston, I thought "Man this tastes kind of like Pino's." The sicilian pizza is also bomb. Sometimes they have bbq chicken pizza which is just great. The sicilian is just what it is suppose to be; crispy outside crust and fluffy middle dough.
My other faorite thing to order are their cheese steaks. Instead of chopped up dry steak, they use slices of steak which keep the moisture in. But the key for me is not to just get steak and cheese. Get everything on it and I assure you, you will not disappointed. I get a touch of mayo, lettuce, onions, pickles, hots and a little ketchup. It really makes it that much better (or at least to me).
It is hard to find a place that never lets me down and this is definitely one of them.
- Pros: Everything
- Cons: Nothing
Pino's - NOT Presto's
by AMichael at Citysearch
I try not to throw down the "Best **** in Boston" because everybody has their preference, but Pino's is close. Even my friends from New York agree that it's the real deal. The guys in there are nice and clearly take pride in their product. It's easy to get confused in Cleveland Circle, because there are a few places to get pizza, but Roggie's and Presto's don't hold a candle to Pino's. Walk the extra half a block to get to Pino's.
My order: #1, but, one sicilian slice, one regular, with a coke. Or if I don't feel like pizza: large chicken parm sub. Can't go wrong.
- Pros: great pizza, great sicilian pizza, great chicken parm sub
- Cons: BC crowd can be rowdy
Very disappointed

After reading good reviews my wife and I ordered from Pino's. We were surprised when our pizza arrived to find it bland and barely edible.
We got half our pizza with sausage and half with pineapple. The pineapple was obviously taken from a can and placed on a cooked cheese pizza and reheated. Because of this the cheese was a bit overcooked. The sausage was entirely bland and made it really unenjoyable. Maybe our experience was a fluke, but as a pizza lover I can enjoy just about any pizza. Unfortunately this was just that bad.
- Pros: Quick delivery
- Cons: bland, overcooked
Best pizza ever

Best pizza, best subs. Real authentic and nice people. HIGHLY recomended. And a very convenient location.
Cleveland Circle pizza joint is wildly popular with BC students.
by Eric Grossman at Citysearch
In Short
Pino's classic thin-crust pizza has fueled many a "freshman fifteen" for the thousands of students that live within walking distance. Cleveland Circle residents also stop in to take a chicken parm sub to go. While no alcohol is served, Pino's is still a popular late-night destination for hungry boozehounds in search of a large slice. The environs evoke any typical, nondescript pizzeria, so most patrons opt for carry-out or delivery.
Best pizza in Boston -- as close to NYC pizza as you can find here
by breadalone at Citysearch
This is actually good Italian pizza. It would stay in business in NYC, which I think is the highest compliment any Boston pizza parlour could be given. (In fact, this might be the *only* pizza parlor in Boston about which this could be said.)
The only downside is Pino's is in Brookline in Cleveland Circle, on last stop on the C-line, so it's something of a schlep to get to. Nonetheless, you can frequently find parking right out front and the pizza is actually worth the trip. Highly recommended.
- Pros: Best pizza in Boston, hands down.
- Cons: All the way out in Cleveland Circle, take the C-line
Yes, there really is a PERFECT pizza!

A huge lover of pizza, I've been going to Pino's for years. It simply doesn't get any better than this! Sure, there isn't much "ambience", but its a really fun place if you choose to eat there. The staff (I could swear that those are the same guys who were serving me with a huge set of smiles 25 years ago) are friendly and delightful--while always keeping things spotless behind the counter--and **nobody** knows how to make a pizza like they do! Nothing in the pizza world tastes quite like it--and I'll keep it that way. Pino's is THE best for pizza with a super-friendly smile. Reasonably priced, eat in, pick up or delivery--and then sit down to enjoy the perfect pizza experience. Three cheers for Pino's, the very, *very* best pizza around! Keep up the great work, guys, and please accept a big thank you from a life-long "fan"!
- Pros: Pizza, Staff, Pizza
- Cons: No parking

Hate Pizza- LOVE PINO'S
by fdj6108 at Citysearch
The best tasting sauce-no oregano!! that ruins the delicate flavor of tomato sauce.
No slimy, gluey cheese- classic flavorful thin crust- REAL ITALIAN. Fresh ingredients all around. No matter where I move I have followed Pino's for over 25 years!!!!
- Cons: no parking
Best Pizza Ever!!!
by jcwpinos at Citysearch
People can say what they want about their local pizza places, or even ones they travel for. Regardless of anything, Pinos has the best slice around! Hands down! The service is excellent! The employees are friendly, always smiling, quick, and always willing to give you the best slice of pizza around! I bring New York city folk to Pinos and they FINALLY admit that we have a better pizza place!
- Pros: PIZZA! SLICE!, SERVICE, LOCATION
- Cons: NOTHING
