Worst experience ever! Ordered 3 items for pick up, when I picked it up they charged me for all and give me only 2. When I came back all the way from my place it was obvious that they knew but never called me to let me know. They refused to give me the missing item and give me bad attitude like I was the one that did something wrong.

JESUS christ, I was FURIOUS. I've been there many times b/c I'm Chinese and have always loved spicy food. Usually I'm there w/ my parents, and on a few occasions service was--lacking. They ignore you. Other times the food was really good, and I didn't feel service was bad. But the LAST time I went with a Caucasian guy, I thought maybe they were mad at me for dating someone not Chinese? Or that I showed up during lunch when they try to make money off white people? I was so offended, 2 waiters unsynchronized asked if i was done after maybe 15 minutes, took my plate before i was done, gave me my check while i was eating, never smiled. The place was empty. Not like there were people waiting, only like 4 other ppl eating. When I inquired about a pork dish I had before, the waitor replied rudely "I dunt know what you are talking about" and shrugged his shoulder, as if to say, "that's not my problem." Oh, I had to ask for chopsticks, b/c they only put out fork and knife out. It's becoming less and less authentic, and before I left I let the waiter know how I felt. I can't believe I felt discriminated against by my own people. I'm writing a terrible review for them too for my Journalism class.. never going there again.

We went once to this restaurant and service was horrible. We really felt we were not welcome there. After few months we decided to give it another try. After all, maybe it was a bad day for the waiter that was serving us then. Unfortunately, it was worse than we could ever imagine! Never in my life I felt so humiliated and uncomfortable! We waited for more than 40 minutes to get appetizers while people that came after us were served main dishes. When we decided to leave, our waiter finally brought the food in a hurry without even apologizing for letting us wait. He said he would check when we ordered. The food came cold! I do not want to get into too much details, but horrible as it sounds, we felt discriminated for not being Chinese. I hope that our fellow citizens of Chinese descent will stop going there and help us close this place that calls itself restaurant!

Pros: none

Cons: service, food

i went there twice. the rave reviews like the ones on this sight drew me there. i have always loved sichuan food and have gone to many restaurants in new york and boston. the food was ok but not off the charts the first time i was there. service was barely adequate no more than that. you had to keep asking for tea or water or other small things. the food was ok but not really more than that. the second time was the last time i will go there. it was one of the worse restaurant experiences i have had in my life. first they ignored us for a long time. i had to get up from the table to get anyone to take our order. then they were annoyed that we wanted water or tea. the food took forever. we waited and waited and waited. we kept asking but they kept ignoring us. then all of a sudden everything came at once. when we noted that some of the food was cold there was no apology. we had enough and paid for a couple of drinks. the cashier (owner?) apologized but took our money. i got the impression service is always arrogant though not always as bad as our second night. bottom line: maybe you will get a good experience but we didn't and the food is just ok, not great.

Pros: nice area, ok food

Cons: service

I'd heard good things about this place, but apparently people were wrong. The food was awful, very greasy and unappetizing, and it almost turned me off Chinese food forever.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Greasy

I'm originally from Sichuan and lived in New York City for 10 years before relocating to the Boston area. Until I dined at Sichuan Garden, I had not had real Sichuan (Szechuan/Szechwan) cuisine in New England. Sichuan Garden's food is excellent and quite authentic, although the real Sichuan food in China will be spicier and saltier. Sichuan Garden is also vegetarian-friendly, and carries a number of delicious non-spicy entrees. They have a separate Chinese menu which you should at least inquire about; nothing fancy, just a few things that might turn American diners off. Service is very courteous and prompt. You can ask them to use "less oil" if you want.

Pros: Excellent food, Affordable, Courteous

Cons: Can be oily, No parking lot

This place is just a gem! We frequent the restaurant, and there are several dishes that are must-tries: Braised Beef with Napa Cabbage, Ma Po Tofu, ChengDu Dry Cooked Chicken, many others! For appetizer try the tasty, spicy, garlicky steamed dumplings in chili vinnaigrette. There's a full bar as well as beer and wine. Prices are very reasonable. Our only complaint is that some dishes tend to be (authentically) oily. Spicy dishes are not for the faint of heart!

Pros: Great food!, Good service, prices

Food is really good. Almost the same level as the original one. Maybe not suit for those americans 'cause we all know american's taste of food....
