i read reviews and deceided to take a side trip into boston and treat myself...and it was GREAT! i loved creative expressions, Laurel was great...listened to me and i received a great hairstyle! i loved her work.. the salon was nice, relaxed and professional....its a 3 hr ride to get there, but i'm sure i'll return...thanks!

I have been going to Carmen at Creative Expressions for 6 years now. I have very difficult hair to work with and Carmen does an amazing job with it. The atmosphere is also great, everybody is very friendly.

Pros: Personalized attention

I've been a client of this wonderful establishment for a few years and I love the staff, especially Jenn for her styling and coloring, and Alan for helping me achieve the "right" eyebrows, not too thin, not too thick. They are both true artists! The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is quite professional as well as friendly.

I had been traveling an hour to get my hair cut and highlighted and was having difficulty finding a salon/hairdresser I liked in the Arlington/Boston area. I think I finally found it. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here - I had no idea what to expect. Jennifer was very pleasant, attentive and professional. She did a great job with my partial foil and my cut. She seemed to really know her stuff. The atmosphere was also very nice, even though you can't necessarily tell from the outside.

Pros: Great color/cut, reasonably priced, nice atmosphere

I love the haircuts and color I've gotten at Creative Expressions. Jennifer is my stylist and she is talented and friendly. Give them a try and I'll bet you'll go back.

I first looked into this salon because they sell Jane Iredale make-up. When I went in to poke arround I decided to book a haircut. After having my hair cut, which was the best priced hair cut I have had in over 3 years I knew I was hooked. I mentioned I was getting married in a month and the next thing I knew I was booking a blow-dry for the big day (didn't want big, complicated hair) and was getting a quick make-up consultation and booking my make up too. I have NEVER felt my pretty and glamours. My make up was subtle yet glamours. The trick is to relax and trust the over all effect. My hair was perfect. I looked like a bride! I am told that Alan does a fabulous job with eyebrows too!

After reading the reviews for this salon (which were all good), I decided to take a chance and get a haircut. I was looking for shorter layers and keeping the length. I was a little nervous because I was expecting to see younger stylists at the salon, but they were all at least over 40. My haircut was a little too short for what I asked for and it didn't look like the updated, modern look I was going for. I would go back, and when I do I will ask for another person who may be up to speed with the latest styles. The price was reasonable and the location was convenient.

This salon is not only great at the service but also holds a wonderful and freindly environment. The improvements on the before and afters have an immeasurable amount of change. I was very pleased with the results of not only my own outcome but also those of others. I would reccomend this salon to everyone.

I used to go to a salon in cambridge that i felt was very pleasant. I wanted a change though due to the fact that my hair never came out just the way I wished it would. I had heard wonderful things about Creative Expressions Salon and decided to try it. My hair was perfect, the service was wonderful, and the environment was extremely pleasant. I decided to have this as my permanent salon. I have never been to a better salon with such a great stylist. I would recommend Laurel Stanton to everyone.

Creative Expressions has the best of the best services and employees. Salon is expessionally clean and up to date. Always on top of new education.
