A pretty beach despite development.

This may not be quite as picturesque as Duxbury Town Beach--which is open only to residents--but it's still a lovely five-mile stretch of sand. Even the summer cottages that now line the shoreline (they've sprung up in the last 30 years) can't mar the beauty.

pretty and low key

While the beach itself is pretty narrow, it is really pretty and wasn't croweded when I went. Lots of mellow people doing their own thing, nothing obnoxious. Parking at the lot was $8 on a Sunday.
