Happy with Visit to Kenmore Optical.

I just started at BU and they take my parent's insurance from out of state- VSP. I would recommend any new student who needs an eye doctor to go to Kenmore Optical

Excellent Doctor and Staff

My baby niece scratched my eye, I was able to get in to see the doctor on an emergency appointment. He was such a nice man and an excellent doctor. I was recommended to go there by a friend and I am so glad I did. I can't wear my contacts for a bit, so I bought a great pair of Lacoste glasses for really good price. Thanks Dr. B and Kenmore!!!

The best Eye Doctor and Store in Boston!

I had a great exam, they took my insurance from Children's Hospital, I got contacts covered under my insurance and extra boxes for cheap. I also got a back-up pair of glasses for 99 bucks- lens and frame! Great deal. Friendly service. Great place.

Great Experience

I had the most wonderful experience at Kenmore Optical. First of all, Dr. Bochnak was fantastic. He really spent quality time addressing my problem. He was so nice. I have never seen so well! Second, the glasses selection was phenomenal! They had Coach, Prada, Gucci, Kate Spade, Lacoste, CK, RL - I even tried on some cool Vintage glasses from the 60s! I ended up buying some really funky glasses called ProDesign from Denmark- really unique. I have never had so much fun picking out glasses. Well, I wanted to give Kenmore Optical 5 stars- a great experience overall!!! Thank you, I am a patient and customer for life!

Great doctor!

I just wanted to thank the doctors at Kenmore for their kindness. I had a really bad eye infection. The doctor I saw was so wonderful. I was kind of scared and he put me at ease and helped me. He basically saved my eyesight and I am so thankful. I have a new eye doc for life!

fixed glasses

i will say that i dont take good care of my glasses and they eventually fell apart which is why i needed to have them fixed. i took them to one of those big chain stores and they told me that they didnt have the correct parts to fix it and that it was not worth fixing and that i needed to buy a new pair. that is what brought me to kenmore where they fixed them on the spot for me .. thank you

got a spare pair of glasses for their special deal for 99 bucks because i usually wear contacts and sleep in them but have to see when i take the contacts out.

Kenmore Optical

These people are out for your money. The doctor called my friend "a broad" and looked at me incredulously when i told him I didn't wear eye make-up often. They charged my friend 65 dollars for a "contact lenses fitting" she didn't know was happening and charged me 20 dollars for a minute long (literally one minute) "follow-up" appointment. I will never go back here. Also, the staff can be helpful to a point.. and then it gets ridiculous. They yelled and raved about how good some glasses looked, and put away ones they didn't like on me, despite the fact that I liked them. Not a very good experience at all. I'm upset I gave them any of my money in the first place.

Doc's 2 cents

I am a physician at a local hospital and our insurance plan, Spectera, is offered at this location for eyecare. This office is a quick T stop away from the longwood medical area. The staff helped me with the frame selection and options for eyeglass lenses. Although I did not pick a Spectera frame, they assisted me with the benefits. The optometrist performed a thorough exam and i was satisfied with his prescription. I was referred to this practice by a colleague and I shall do the same.
