User Reviews for Ziskend David - Security Insurance

2 Star Rating: Below Average

First year I got a new car, I know nothing about it, then I need insurance, I went there for it. Charged me $2500 for one year insurance. 2nd year liberty mutual sent me the renewal, only cost me $1200 for year. And I didn't get the renewal letter this year, I asked Liberty mutual, Libert mutual wanted me to contact the broker. I called Security Insurance and they said something wierd happened within my account. I asked them what is weird, they won't tell and insisted me to come over to take a look. That sounds weird to me, like some kind trap. I am planning go to AAA or Liberty Mutual again since it sounds really tricky to me.

Pros: Location

Cons: Feel like they trick me

PLEASE, if you value your sanity, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY. HE WILL DRIVE YOU INSANE. He does NOT follow through on ANY commitments, he WILL NOT help you in any way, shape or form, his office is a complete disaster, and having to talk to him is like a nightmare come true. DO NOT HAVE YOUR INSURANCE DONE THROUGH THIS REP.

Pros: NONE.

Cons: Biggest mess on the planet. Completely Disorganized.

This guy is unbelievable. I am not surprised to see these reviews based on my experience, as well as the treatment I have seen him give others while I was in the store. I started a policy when I first moved here. He has since failed to transfer policies/plates on multiple cars, refused to cancel policies, and continued to charge me for policies which have long been settled with the primary insurance carrier. He has lost multiple checks, failed to report payment to the primary carrier, and does not even come close to keeping accurate records (check out the 5 foot high pile of folders behind the counter-that's where your payment is going). Why didn't I get out sooner? Just check out the other reviews...he doesn't cancel policies. Ever. I finally got out and have a new policy. As for his treatment of people in general, the other reviews speak for themselves. I would not send a sworn enemy to this agent. But hey, see for yourself. It will be a wild ride.

Pros: None, unless you enjoy frustration and poor service

Cons: I don't even know where to start

I called them 5 times over the course of 3 months since I returned my license plate to cancel my policy. Each time, they have a new excuse, and my policy keeps deducting auto payment. David Ziskend never finalized my paperwork with my insurance. They said they will get back to me every time I call. David has the worst manner over the phone, he said, "honey, call me back after 5PM, I'm with a customer now," and he hung up the phone on me. Never even think of using this broker. It'll be your nightmare to ask them to do anything, even a simple cancellation paperwork.

Pros: none

Cons: unrealiable

I had insurance with these people for only a few months. I got rid of my car and tried to switch over my other vehicle and the guy had no idea what to do. It was a Friday and he told me to wait until Monday so he could figure out the switch paperwork. How annoying not having a car for the weekend because my agent didn't know what he was doing...then I cancel it because he can't do it..he actually says "DO YOU WANT ME TO DO YOU THIS FAVOR OR NOT??!?!" As if me as a paying customer was receiving his crappy service as a "favor". I switched and am still getting billed, and they give me the runaround...I don't think they ever cancelled it to begin with. I WOULD AVOID.

Pros: location?

Cons: really rude, aggresive sales guy, not honest
