Fantastic Experience
by NewYork311 at Citysearch
Was visiting a friend who works at Fidelity right near the Seaport. I stayed at the Seaport and had a fantastic experience. The room was very clean, the view was AMAZING, and the food was perfect. I come to Boston often and can definitely say that this is my favorite hotel now. The price is right and the experience was enjoyable.
- Pros: Amazing Views
- Cons: Kind of far removed, but nice to be away

gorgeous wedding venue

I recently attended a wedding here after moving from CT. The views were phenomenal! Food was fantastic!! Our hotel room was great too. All of the hotel staff greeted their customers warmly. we were upgraded to a room on the 16th floor with harbor views. All in and all a great hotel!
Not quite worth it
by Rockedyou at Citysearch
The hotel itself is pretty and in a good location and the staff was very nice as well. However, I was surprised that they charge $18 for the breakfast buffet. With how expensive the hotel is, I would expect at least continental breakfast. The rooms had all the latest technology but the decorations were very bland and not something you would expect from a high end hotel. Overall though, it wasnt so bad. I would probably choose a place that is closer to downtown if you plan on going out in boston.
- Pros: Excellent staff, rooms fully stocked, pretty views
- Cons: expensive drinks and over priced breakfast, ugly rooms
Aura Restaurant
by CharlesGriswold at Citysearch
We went to the Aura restaurant prior to attending the Boston Pavilion concert. The had a preconcert fix price menu for $48 a person. The food was fine. The service was horrible. We were there for 2 hours and had to chase the waiter around the dinning room to get our check. we were late to the concert. I believe we were over charged for wine by the glass and a 20% tip was charged on the bill.
Over all not a pleasant experience and no value for the money. I would stay away.

The Scene
This hotel is located ten minutes from Logan Airport and the Financial District, and sits across the street from the World Trade Center. Given its location, it's no wonder it caters to business travelers. The property opened in 1998 and hosts a corporate crowd during the week, tourists on weekends.
The Details
Room views are impressive from higher floors, looking out over the waterfront. Free video games and airport information are part of the television setups. The Seaport Health Club features full fitness and spa amenities, including personal trainers, skin and nail treatments and massage; it's also highly regarded by Boston residents. The hotel offers a free shuttle to downtown; leave extra time for this option, or for walking; Chances are you'll have to weave through the Big Dig, a major construction project, on your way to see the sights. Staying in? Enjoy the on-site lounge, cafe or American cuisine at Aura Restaurant.
Great Place for a wedding
by miacomet at Citysearch
I attended a wedding tonight and had a great time, as did all the guests. The ballroom is spacious elegant, and the service is great. The food is also quite good--we opened up with fish cake, then had a Caesar salad with just enough dressing, then came chicken on the range with a delicious sauce and mashed yams/potatoes, and finally the wedding cake.
Sheer dissapoinment and rude manager
by virstyle at Citysearch
My fiance surprised me on our anniversary with a weekend in Boston.
At best, our room was small, though clean but NOT what they represent on their website.
We spent about 1/2 hour in the room, trying to decide whether to stay or go. After realizing there was not even a cafe to grab a quick snack, we decided to leave.
I give this rating a 'not recommended' as opposed to a below avg, b/c of the attitude of the manager after we had amicably explained our situation. We were not expecting a 100% refund but CERTAINLY not the argument of "you are from the area, you should know better" He also claimed that our reason for leaving was bogus - all with a haughty attitude. I hope that sharing my experience will help the hotel reform their management or deter someone from wasting their time and patience.
- Cons: rude manager, poor value for money, inconvenient locale
