Watch your pie bake in a wood-fired oven at this national chain with global culinary influences.

In Short
Founded in Beverly Hills in 1985, these eateries with the trademark yellow, black and white color scheme have spread nationwide. The decor consists of simple wood and glass with roomy black leather booths. The thin-crust pizzas come with innovative toppings from Asia, Latin America and the Southwest; signature pizzas like the Original BBQ Chicken and Jamaican Jerk Chicken compete with old standbys like pepperoni and traditional cheese. Pastas, salads, soups and sandwiches round out the menu.

I work in one of the buildings connected to the Prudential center, so I end up ordering the triumverate (Cheesecake Factory, Legal Seafoods, and CPK) quite often. Of them all I like this place the best. (NOTE: I've only eaten inside this place like twice, and they were fairly average experiences. I get pickup here a lot).
Reasons I like it 1.) the prices are fairly reasonable compared to Cheesecake and Legal 2.) the food is quite good and you can find some tasty light options (I really like the milan pizza).

I would have to admit that CPK is a great place to go and you will find their salads, appetizers, and pizzas interesting, though a little too ambitious. They don't have an Italian-feel that you might expect from a pizzeria, but I would say that they have great service (overall) and this location in the Pru provides shoppers with a nice location to head off to after they are finished walking around and want to shop or browse this center of Boston some more.
- Pros: Close Parking, Bar (anyone), Good for the kids
- Cons: , Expensive
