In Short
Named for a mountain range in the Canadian Rockies, this restaurant's interior has the atmosphere of a rustic hunting lodge. Talking animal heads provide side-show entertainment, but the primary attraction is the steak: prime cuts of sirloin, T-Bone, ribeye and prime rib. Hungry patrons are satiated by large portions of spit-roasted chicken, grilled salmon and Canadian jambalaya. Dessert lovers indulge with the chocolate "moose" cake, decadent layers of white chocolate mousse.
Well worth it...

I've never had a bad experience at Bugaboo Creek. Yes, its very kid friendly, which means if you are expecting a quiet dinner, its not the place for you.
The menu has a huge variety of great dishes to choose from and you definitely get your moneys worth. The servings are huge IMO and I always go home with some. I would recommend saving room for dessert when you go, because they don't get much better.
I personally love the atmosphere, but again it can be a bit much. Lunch is a great time to go if you want some quietness (except for the talking moose).
- Cons: Annoying Moose and flapping fish
Great for kids and adults

While this place is perfect for family dinning, it is also a great spot to gather with friends before a fun night out. The atmosphere there is always warm and comforting, and the food is the best around...with enough diversity in the menu to keep everyone in your group happy. Their specialty undeniably lies in steaks, but they also are above average in seafood, and pasta dishes. The talking animal heads are entertaining for children, and become conversation starters for adults. Last but not least, you owe it to yourself to try the drinks made with "Moose Juice" (grey goose vodka that sits in pineapple).
- Pros: Great atmosphere, quick seating, awesome food
- Cons: a bit hectic at times
Part Chuckie Cheese part Applebees

"Let's all go out for Canadian food !" Betcha never said that. Me neither. Ok lets talk about this place, it's a restaurant for families to bring their kids. If you are a couple without kids in tow, my guess is you will hate it. Every 20 minutes or so an electronic moose head starts loudly telling some story about Bugaboo Creek or some other nonsense. It's amusing for 10 seconds then annoying from that point. If you are there for an hour and a half like we were plan on re hearing it 6 times.
- Pros: Low prices, kid friendly, good parking
- Cons: Talking Moose Head, way too in your face, weird food
Great Food, Good Value

I have been going here since this location opened, and am still not tired of the flavorful food! The Fireside Sirloin Skilet Tips are my favorite dish, and the chocolate cake (the actual name escapes me) is an almost perfect dessert. The snowbird chicken is also another personal favorite of mine. The food is just so flavorful and GOOD, it really keeps you coming back.
- Pros: great food
- Cons: can be busy
