We went down to buy a new Mazda and wound up being interested in a used Mercedes. First off, we knew more about the Mazda products then the salesperson, Quoted a price and were going to buy when all of the sudden a very rude salesperson came over and told us, the price was the price take it or leave it, they would not negotiate a deal. He was so rude and obnoxious. We should have walked out then. After he, the salesman and Mgr. then had a big fight. The mgr. came over to apologize for this rude man. We said ok, came back the next day to buy after being told we could make a deal, (there was over 4,000 dollars damage to the used car right off the bat), next day came back with check book and another Mgr. said "Sorry we can't sell to you today, your price is way too low!" Our price, we were quoted what was on the car. He said on no, that car was over 4,000 higher. Two letters describe this place and Mgr. "BS!" He totally screwed himself. We have never been spoken too or had someone be so RUDE, but it was there loss not ours, Just bought a gorgeous mercedes on EBAY! try it, second mercedes bought on ebay, love the car and no rude sales people to deal with. Now I know why there wasn't one person in Mazda buying a car. And, the salesperson we had told us "Hey, they just tried ripping off the old lady!" pretty sad, that the sales person (only worked there for a couple of months) admitted they are the Biggest Rip OFF!!! StAY AWAY, SERVICE IS TERRIBLE AT QUIRK AS WELL
Pros: NONE
Cons: RUDE SALES PEOPLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE, OUT TO SCREW U

I walked into Quirk Mazda's lot today, knowing exactly what I wanted: 2007 Mazda MAZDA3 s Sport 4dr Wagon (2.3L 4cyl 5M) in a dark color. I was approached by a Salesman who did not introduce himself to us. The first question was if we were looking to buy today, upon which I said it depended on whether or not they had what I wanted. I was then questioned why I want a Manual transmission. I was then asked why I want the hatchback and not the sedan. Ok, so turns out there's only a sunlight silver s Sport 4dr Wagon, but I was looking for a darker color. He then explained that the silver was much better looking than the Galaxy Gray Mica because the Galaxy Gray had no contrast. At that point, my boyfriend pointed out that color is a matter of preference.. We asked if we could take the sunlight silver for a test drive since I haven't testdrove an s Sport before. We were told that we could test drive it if we were willing to buy today, which went like this: "Can we take the silver for a testdrive?" "You can buy it." "Are you saying we can't take it for a testdrive?" "If you buy today". I then said we'd rather go somewhere else if this was the case since I can't commit to buying today. He thanked us and walked away. My boyfriend (in a very friendly manner) called after him telling him we didn't catch his name, but he said it didn't matter and continued to walk. One of the other salesmen close-by was kind enough (though earlier he only introduced himself to my bf, though he isn't even the one looking for a car..) to let us know that our Salesman's name was Andrew/Andy. Upon asking the second Salesman, we were told that it's not custom that they will only let you test drive if you buy the same day. Reading the other reviews, this is obviously not the case, but instead my experience seems to be the norm. Worst customer service ever. And I potentially would/could have walked away with a new car today.
Pros: close to boston
Cons: horrible customer service

What a horrible experience we had at Quirk Mazda in Quincy MA, I went with my girlfriend to help her buy a new Mazda. We were quoted a great price on the phone and we thought we were getting a great deal because it was the last day of the month. So we went in to buy the car spending two and a half hours test riding and filling out paper work. Everybody seemed polite and friendly as was the young salesman, except his personal story kept changing, about what he drove and where he came from. Everything was going smoothly up until the last moment, everything was done; credit check, throw in the floor mats shook hands with the sales manager etc. Starting to relax and convinced we were about to sign and buy the car we leaned back in our chairs. The sales manager came swaggering over saying "there's a problem". As my heart is sinking he tells us they can't sell us the car we drove and stood around for almost two hours at this price, he claimed the young salesman quoted us for the wrong car. I was in shock after spending all afternoon there. Bait and Switch I never thought they did that any more especially in a large dealership but here it was happening and my precious Saturday was wasted at Quirk Mazda, all we could do was walk away. After all that, shouldn't you, as a manager, just sell the car if you made the mistake?
Pros: Inventory seems large
Cons: The sales team and manager are deceptive.

My wife and I got my sister-in-law to babysit the kids so we could go visit two dealerships to settle on a new car purchase. We came in to Quirk Mazda to view and possibly buy the CX9. The sales guy who accosted us wanted us to sit down and answer myriad questions before we could even look at the car in the showroom. After 5 minutes he had us sitting down, and he insisted we answer all his questions, including "What are the chances of you buying a vehicle from me today?", and detailed questions on trade in and what other cars we were looking at. He stated, "That's the way we do business here, before we spend time with a customer." This was a Thursday morning and no customers other than my wife and I were present. Why the hard sell? I should have walked then, but instead I relented and gave him the information. When I told him the *one* other vehicle we were considering, he scoffed, got up, went to the manager's desk and back, then insisted that we first go to the other dealer before he spends any time with us, because "that's the way we do business here." Having come from the manager's desk, he was either told to do this or it simply was his gambit. We'll never know. We got up to leave, and I tossed the brochure on the conference table and it slid a little further than I intended, almost sliding off the table. He berated me for throwing the brochure at *him*. When I explained, he said "Yeah right", and I asked him to stop being a j*rk. He then said, "That's Mister J*rk to you." Indeed. Capital M. Capital J. Needless to say, we can not comment on anything else-- never got the attention and respect we deserved.
Pros: Close to home
Cons: Rude, arrogant sales staff. Buy now or get out sales tactic
