Horrible Customer Service, Unfriendly Wait Staff

So, after an unpleasant experience the last time we held a family members birthday here, we decide to try it again, per my sister. We ordered 2 appetizers for 7 people, the watiress didn't specify if we wanted extra, but "Doubled-up the order" and charged us $24.99 for 2 appetizers that were on the menu for $7.99. No communication to let us know that she was doing this. The appetizers were barely enough and we were triple charged. After making our decision for entrees, select menu selections, were "unavailable".
After ordering a $35 bottle of wine, while eating my meal, not one time did a waitress come to our table asking us if we needed more drinks, more water, or anything. Almost choking on my food, someone in my party had to get up, go to the table in front of the kitchen and pour my water for me. After that pitcher was done, we had to wait again to get a waitresses attention to get more drinks. Also, we asked for more bread to go with our entree's and guess what, the bread never showed up.
Mind you this was a Thursday night and there was about a total of 13 people in the restaurant including our party of 7. I can't imagine what service would be like if it were a Friday or Saturday night. I learned my lesson, I will never, EVER, go back to Abbondanza in Everett. Decent food does not give you the right to ignore your patrons.
It was overall the WORST dining experience I have had in my life. I've been to chain restaurants and more personal service than I did last Thursday. And after all that, being triple charged for appetizers was the tip of the iceberg. I will let everyone I know, and don't know, to never step foot in that place again.
- Pros: Good Italian food
- Cons: Bad Wait Staff, Poor Customer Service, Poor Parking,
Abbondanzas - THE BEST RISTORANTE!

i came here with my husband and it was swarmed with people on a saturday night but we got seated right away. We sat down stairs ( there newly renovated room) but, they also have a beaituful dining room upstairs too. Our waitress Adrienne was very friendly and caring. We were given some nice toasty bread right out of the oven with a oil and cheese dipping sauce which was very good. We ordered some appitizers : We got the fresh oysters ( which was a special ), then the fried calamari which were very golden colored and fresh, and lastly the broccili rabe an original which was delicious. For our dinners, i got the chicken Alexia which is my faovirite. My husband got the veal avocado which is a new item on the menu and it was delicious. We also had ordered some apple martinis they have a full bar upstairs and downstairs. And for dessert we got the fruta de bosco which was a fresh tart with nicely cut fruit on top. I would absolutely go back again! and i reccomend to everyone!

I had to give this place a top rating because the only other review was 1 star! No way!!! We were seated promptly and our waitress was very friendly and went over a few of the dishes with us. The eggplant appetizer special was so great it could have been my meal. I followed the lead of my friends and used the house dressing on the salad with a splash of balsamic vinegar and I loved it. My butternut squash ravioli was fantastic. I ate everything (in preparation for a long bike ride the next day). We got a good deal with the discount from the entertainment book, but the prices are reasonable already. I can't wait to go back. I hadn't been in years and now I'm not sure why I stopped going.
- Pros: Yummy house salad dressing
- Cons: Parking could be tough
