Lowest Quality Luxury Rentals! Take your good money elsewhere. Do not let initial appearances fool you.

Management is unprofessional and certainly not courteous. fantastic until you sign on the dotted line.
Maintenance is an ABSOLUTE joke of the lowest competence and quality, The "repairs" and paint job in my apartment are proof.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR LUXURY, TAKE YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN HERE!
I am a current tenant 2008-2009 locked in the middle of a lease and cannot wait till it is over!
- Pros: Buildings look contemporary and professional, large floor plans.
- Cons: Price, location, management, and maintenance.
BEWARE TO GET ROBBED BY MAINTANCE

so if you are looking to rent this place please be aware that if you have your house robbed and your door was locked you may want to think about tthe maintance men. yes i just moved out here not even 2 weeks ago and Vincent Damico 44 18- kennedy dr. malden mass. works at granada highlands as a maintance guy entered my home with the police the night before because my music was to loud, i was never aware that they entered my home no phone call no nothing. i came home to find that my door was locked from the inside as if someone was still inside. had to call maintance and Vincent came over and i pushed the door in. i had asked him about the round circle that was on my door and he had told me that the malden police did that.
i was gone all day saturday with my girlfriend from miami. left home around 11:30 and arrived home around 4:30-5:00am on sunday. entered my home unlocked my door to find that one bedroom door was open when it has been closed every day since i moved in because of my puppy. i had found money missing that was on the table as well as all my expencive jewlery. 3 necklaces 2 where 8 thousand dollar chains each with diamonds. as well as 1 ring with diamond $390 cash, credit card, credit card information, 3 bracelets and my mothers pearl set and she has just passsed away. so to me its not about mad or anger its more about devistating and dissapointed and discussed by the way everyone reacted. managment office just stepped all over it as well as the police. this guy knew i lived alone and knew exaclty what he was doing. and Vinni if you are one of them that is reading this you should be ashamed of yourself and im not mad at you because in the end i am the one thats going to be smiling because you are not going to go very far in life and i am going to make sure that you get prosicuted for what you have done. so be carefull the next house you rob it may be the wrong person
- Pros: close to the highway
- Cons: maintance will steal your values from your own home and nothing will be done about it
If you want them to steal your security deposit, then chase after you with creditors, then rent from them!

Granada Highlands *used* to be a great place to live. Then in 2000, they were sold to another company. All of a sudden they jacked up the rents. Just to give you an IDEA, a one-bedroom went for 1850 dollars including indoor parking.
I signed a one-year lease. I asked at the signing if there was anything unusual about the lease. The person, Jane or Jean, said no. I lived there for a year. During that year, I met so many neighbors that complained about the increase in rents. They were elderly and had lived there for years, sometimes decades. But all of a sudden their rents were increased 400 to 600 dollars thanks to your state reps.
Anyway, many people were also unhappy with the new management. Every single employee I got to know over that year complained about the new management too.
So, after 11 months, I give these people a one month notice. After all, who is going to pay 1850 bucks for a ONE BEDROOM? I had only signed up, because so many of my friends who had lived there under the old management loved the place. I gave them 30 days notice. I paid 1000 security deposit.
Now, creditors are chasing me. Because unbeknownst to me, these evil people had put a 60 day notice in their lease! So not only did they STEAL my security deposit, they charged me for lightbulbs that didn't work, they charged me for cleaning the rug, they charged me a month's rent over and above the ONE YEAR LEASE I had signed. Then they contacted me two years later and in a letter told me that, instead of them OWING ME 1000 dollars, I OWED THEM 2200 DOLLARS!!!
I told them I would never pay something I did not owe. Never mind that so many of my neighbors were disheartened by the ridiculous rent increases, and the pool and gym that used to be so popular--you could hear crickets chirp. What used to be a great place to live, is now a dump.
So, if you do decide to live there, don't believe the salespeople. Whoever rated this place 8.4 works for the company.
- Pros: It used to be a great place before new management took over.
- Cons: Sneaky lease tactics. They charge for missing lightbulbs!!
