SHORT REVIEW: -Great service -Really cool staff -Great selection -Cheap prices -Would recommend to anyone LONG REVIEW: My mountain bike was dying. The only "off-road" riding it had seen in years was on-going Mass Ave construction. It was time for a new bike, and something more street worthy at that. I went to all the bike shops in the Boston area (Central Sq. Beacon St. Comm Ave. Mass Ave, Tremont St., etc.). They all had some kind of issue or another. Small selection. Over-priced stock. Self-important staff. None of those places made me feel like I wanted to give them my bid'ness. Then a friend mentioned "there is a shop on Elm St up in Davis Sq, called Ace Wheelworks." I did some research and found their web site. That alone impressed me. It was much more informative than any of the other major bike stores in the area. Compare them yourself, and you'll see. So then I went over to the store to poke around. The place was busy, but someone came right over to help me. From there everything was really smooth. They had just sold the bike I wanted, and had to get it from one of their other locations. It was ready to go the next day. When I went back to pick it up, sales guy from the previous day chatted with me for a bit. despite being busy with repairs. About 3 other employees all asked if I was being helped, and and everyone else in the store was also being helpped out too. This was quite different from what I had seen at some of the other stores I'd been to. Check out Ace Wheelworks. It's a great stop.
