I pop in here every few weeks just to take a look at their amazing selection of antiques. Usually the furniture inventory doesn't change much, but the accessories and collectibles are always changing. There are always really cool Tiffany style stained glass lamps, cool china, neat clocks, etc. It's a great place to treasure hunt for the perfect item for your home - you never know what you'll find! My impression is that you can haggle a bit on price, especially on larger more expensive items!

Need a wedding present? Margaret (one of the owners) will take you by the hand and guied you around the shop until you find just the right thing.

Want to know the details on a peice of furniture? Colin will give you a thorough history including ancedotes and vignettes about the period and pervious owners.

Amazing Antiques and Honest Dealers

Sometimes you go into antique stores and feel like the owners are trying to pull the wool over your eyes and are not the most reputeable. This store however was different. They had an amazing selection and each item was fairly priced and delivered to my apartment in somerville, not the easiest place to get a piece of furniture into. The owner Colin and his assistant delivered it themselves and delivered the piece without a scratch up 3 flights of stairs. I recommend this store to ALL my friends

Wow!!!!

Consignment galleries met and surpassed all of my expectations. I went in looking for a crappy cheap night stand for my apartment (limited budget) and ended up leaving with a solid mahogany night stand for the price I was expecting to pay for the crappy one.

Also, the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

• Pros: Great prices, Honest, No hassle
• Cons: Not a very big sign

This is a wonderful store with quality and professional persons who care and take time to address questions. I highly reccommend visiting and purchasing. I have been a customer for many years and I am amazed at the honesty and sincerity of all those who own and are employed at Consignment Galleries. I thank them.

Deals, Deals, Deals!

It's an excellent shopping experience. There are plenty of deals to be found, all prices are fair! Great customer service and they deliver! I always go to Consignment Galleries to purchase things for my apartment and gifts for friends. Ask the employees for gift suggestions, they always have excellent ideas!

What a variety

Packed with values from the bargain shopper looking for a last minute gift to a homeowner looking for that one of a kind living room\dining room set of mahogany its all there and everything in between. Ive shopped other antique stores and came away feeling taken but I left consignment galleries knowing that I was treated with respect and got a great bargain. They also delivered the beautiful mahogany table I purchased..

Great locale!! The people and fellow patrons were very welcoming and competent in their assisting me with my search. Margaret (or Margo as I heard her addressed) takes great pleasure in advising and sharing her experiences with her customers. I have furnished 2 homes with the help of CG.
