Popular Harvard Square boutique specializes in hip, clean-lined clothing for work and for play.
by Contributor at Citysearch
In Short
Jasmine Sola's clothing runs the gamut from funky to elegant for both men and women. For the ladies: tiny tees with Asian prints, well-made suits for the boardroom and stunning evening wear. For the gents: muted palettes of gray and black, carefully tailored suits, hip neckwear and fitted tops for day or night. Contemporary jewelry and baubles are also featured.
highly overated teenny bopper shop.

ok so I dont get why solas is still around. They dont carry real womens styles. There way over priced pick up one of there brands and look up the vendor why pay 80-100$ for $16 bags???? The quality of merchandise is cheap and overpriced. Staff clueless about product info and not helpfull. Honestly the store is highly overated oops and I almost forgot god forbid your not a juniors size or they dont carry your size.
- Pros: in all the malls so you can look like everyone else
- Cons: value is really bad
Worst fashion in Boston
by collegeincambridge at Citysearch
If you want the leftover fashions from Kitson sent to Boston, head to Jasmine Sola. Never trendy. Never inexpensive. And a never attentive staff. Somehow this store manages to con Harvard and Boston girls into buying ugly boleros and ugly sequined dresses. Even then jeans are usually overpriced. I only wish I could open a store to compete, because it wouldn't be very difficult.
- Pros: Denim selection
- Cons: Everything else
Best Store For Jeans
by pinyacolada at Citysearch
Jasmine Sola's the best if you want to buy a pair of jeans. They have so many types and styles to choose from. I love their clothes. Usually carry alot of small sizes. I recommend it for everyone.
JASMINE IS HORRIBLE!
by kmon at Citysearch
Jasmine Sola is Horrible! The employees are SO rude. I will never EVER shop there again. The clothes are poor quality with designer prices. Their return policy is ridiculous. I was also in the store when the owner was there and he was treating his employees like slaves. He was yelling and cussing. It was the most unprofessional atmosphere I've ever encountered. Other customers were scared as well and left due to the threatening nature of the staff. If you shop at Jasmine, you will be treated like a second class citizen!
not costumer service minded
by anine at Citysearch
It seems as employees at Jasmine Sola not only are arrogant and unapproachable, but they want to come across that way. This store has good designer clothes and great accessories, but I dont even want to go in there anymore. Their new security are guys who are playing around in the store, and are commenting on peoples dresses and looks etc. It is just very unprofessional and I would rather spend my money in a store/boutique where I feel comfortable even entering. I am taking into consideration that most girls who work there are 19 and trying to be cool, but this is getting very old.
- Pros: accessories, locations, shoes
- Cons: service , employees
I love Jasmine Sola

Fantastic selection (trendy and classic options)
Doezens of designers
The staff is extremely helpful--probably used to dealing with snobby, self-entitled clientel, So, i've found that taking into account their prespective, if I'm really nice and friendly, they resiprocate.
These girls know their denim and are willing to help you find the perfect pair (even for curvy girls, like me!
Where else can you go into a store, have dozens of different designers, cuts, and washes all right there for you?
For me, finding great clothes that fit well is worth spending more then $50 for an average pair of jeans.
Prices are comparable to simialr retailers.
ps- Harvard has best selection
- Pros: unbeatable variety, knowledgable staff, many locations
- Cons: pricy, off-standish staff , very popular
snobby staff

i love the things at jasmine sola, but always have a hard time bringing myself to shop there because the girls are such witches who work there- i wish someone would bring them back to the ground: it's retail. but if you can ignore them and take on an equally icy attitude, the clothes and accessories are great.
- Pros: good jeans, great accessories
- Cons: witchy staff, expensive
