Quick chefs, tasty food, good value.
This is my standard go-to when I don't feel like cooking, but don't want to go out. It's tasty, cheap, and the menu is fairly reliable.
The only questionable thing I've had is the shrimp with lobster sauce--I don't think it was lobster sauce (definitely had some ground beef), but it tasted ok (or maybe I was hungry!)
If you do a pick-up order, generally, the food's ready to go by the time I get there (I'm about a 10 minute walk away). I wouldn't recommend for sit-in, as it's kind of small and you definitely emerge smelling like a stir fry. But for a take out place, it's exactly what it's supposed to be.…
Really good take out. Hoy Hing exceeded expectations. We were visiting from Australia and looking for a chinese take away place which would put take away in those boxes you see in the movies. The sesame chicken was delicious and in all the other dishes we got a great amount of fresh vegetables and the flavours were all varied and tasty. Hoy Hing doesnt usually serve take away in the boxes but as we were visitors and had come specifically for that the lovely couple gave us the rice in boxes with one extra one to take home. They also provided us with plates and cutlery as we staying in a hotel. It was really lovely, the food and the service. I would strongly recommend this for anyone who likes delicious chinese food and friendly service.…
