We have been bring our dogs there for many years! The do an FANTASTIC JOB! they are always accommodating and very very kind. They know thier clients well and really work hard to get special request completed. GREAT GREAT GREAT PLACE! We have also boarded our dogs here- It is the one place (business wise) were I have not felt guilty leaving them!

Pros: Staff is great! Really care for the well-being of your pet!

Cons: ... parking can be hard but its just a quick run in and out....

My pup loves going to the Continental Shoppe. We use Brian, on the recommendation of a friend, and we've been very please with the results. I agree with the previous poster. You definitely need to have an idea of what you want or at least bounce ideas off the groomer. Don't just drop your dog off and hope for the best. You wouldn't do it with your own hair, so don't do it with your dog's. Our dog gets her nails clipped and hair cut for $50. Our friend's dog gets fully hand stripped for $65. The fact that they even consider hand stripping shows the quality of the facility. The groomers are genuinely enthusiastic about cutting pets and are very sweet. My pet loves going and I highly recommend it. Word to the wise, it was the victim of fire damage during the summer of 2007, so if you're trying to book appointments in summer - fall 2007, book early. They are working out of a mobile unit and bookings are going up fast!

Pros: Friendly, Good Hours, Great Cuts

Cons: Parking

I had to write a reveiw after seeing the first one in this list. my whole family had LOVED the continental shoppe for years. my aunt, parents, myself, and my grand mother all use Jack and cn't wait every time to see our beautiful dogs come home sporting thier new doo. As for the woman who's dog got shaved, my experience has been that you just need to tell them wht you want done, and they will do it (including ear plucking for my parent's ear infection prone poodle) ya just got to assk for what ya want. Also, they have a service for pick ups for people who are unable to get thier dogs to the shop (i'm not sure of the details, but my 91 year old grandmother has it set up where Jack's van comes to pick up her dog in the morning and bring him home clean later in the day). My dog always seems happy there and you can tell, the employee's really love the cannie clients:-)

Pros: great job

Cons: def pricey

Horrible, horrible. Shaved my long haired dog to the bone, and some of her skin off too ! not even an apology ! She looks foolish, and I am embarrased, not to mention the $65 dollars they charged me for a tiny dog. I could shave a dog myself. Not professional at all. Called the owner, but he did not have the courtesy to call me back. Don't go here if you expect professional results or a reasonable price.

Pros: clean and receptionist is friendly

Cons: poor results, and definitly does not deliver what is promised. Cut my dog - no apology

the continental shoppe offers boarding, daycre and grooming and all are top notch. the grooming is so sought after that you must call a week in advance for appointments. the kennel is great for all you needs. day care is great for working people. drop off is between 7-10 in am and pick up is between 4-6 pm. for the boarding the kennel is staffed 24 hour a day and they can always be reached. the one true sign is when your pet pulls you through the door and is happy to see there caretacker...

Pros: smiling faces, expert serivce
