Avoid this bank

Was a long time customer, emphasis on "was". My last check deposit, $10,000 from (from Merrill Lynch) cleared in 24 hours. However bank managers decided to hold the funds for 2 weeks. Money that I sorely needed at the time. They refused to offer a reason.

It is a mystery to me. But avoid this bank

• Pros: Convenient
• Cons: $5.00 money orders, arbitrary 2 week hold on larger deposits
