Fantastic movers!

I have moved several times over the last few years and I have had some bad moving experiences. When I was planning my move from Boston to Philadelphia, I read the great reviews about Roadrunner on the internet, and I thought they were too good to be true. I went with them because they gave me a good estimate which included a minimum and a maximum price with no hidden costs, and they did not charge for used boxes. All of the excellent reviews were spot on, and I am so glad that I picked them as my movers. From the time Dave came to my apartment in Boston for an estimate to the time the movers placed the last piece of furniture in my apartment in Philadelphia, everyone was professional, friendly, efficient, careful, and hard working. I would highly recommend them!

Outstanding! Professional & careful with your possessions!

In the late summer of 2009 my husband and I were preparing for a move from Massachusetts to Florida. We relentlessly scoured the web for movers, reading company histories, customer reviews, complaints and commendations. I generally hold people to a very high standard and consider myself difficult to please; when it came to handing my worldly possessions over to strangers these standards were raised even higher.

Of all of the companies we considered, Road Runner stood out for their professionalism during initial phone calls and their in-home estimate they provided to me. We chose to use Road Runner and could not have

been happier to have done so. If you are considering a move and are concerned about how your things will be packed, loaded, hauled, and unloaded, I *strongly* recommended Road Runner Moving and Storage.

During the initial estimate they were very polite, knowledgeable and thorough. The estimator (who was also my driver) had quick, accurate, and polite answers to all of my questions (and I had a ton of them).

During the packing and loading the team that showed was very polite and FAST. They loaded my entire place onto the truck in a few hours. My husband and I watched like a hawk to make sure our near-new furniture was treated properly, and it was. I couldn't have been more careful if I did it myself.

During transit they kept in thorough contact with me to let me know where they were, and to refine their estimated delivery date. They delivered within their estimated delivery window, and I knew exactly when to expect them.

Due to unrelated circumstances, I had to back out of the rental house they were delivering to. It was a great relief that they were willing to change delivery locations without making a big deal out of it.

During unloading we, again, watched them like hawks to make sure our stuff was treated with the respect it deserved, and it was. They were as careful unloading as they were loading. Not one of my items was damaged. One of the boxes had gotten a little squished, which they pointed out to me without me asking. They opened the box and left me with it to review the contents while they continued unloading. Nothing had broken, but it was good to know that if something *had* broken they were interested in doing the right thing and not hiding it from me.

In summary: Road Runner does good, honest business. Their prices are very competitive but don't be fooled - you get top-dollar service without paying top dollar. These guys know the moving business and they do it well. If you are considering a move, you need to talk to these guys first and you need to give them serious consideration.

Best Movers!

This was my second time relying on Dave Mareira and his team (third, actually, if you include the first time I met them when they took heroic measures to deliver a fabulous couch I’d purchased, which as it turns out would not fit up the stairs of my apartment at the time…). I truly think they are the best and will tell any one who will listen! They are professional, diligent, responsive and fun (if you can call anything about moving fun!). For our most recent move, on move day (which was about 100 degrees) I had to plead with our move crew – led by Martin and Dave – to take breaks to drink water and eat snacks so I wouldn’t worry about them passing out from the heat! They worked tirelessly, came in on budget (despite our having more items than they anticipated!) and on time (our buildings required very particular move in and move out times). Without question I will use them again!!

• Cons: You still have to move!

great moving company

I used them for both their storage facility and, eventually, w/our move. They were great to work with, very understanding w/a late payment and incredibly competent come time for our move. I cannot think of one thing to complain about when referring to Road Runner Moving and Storage. I just wish more companies were as friendly, competent and affordable as this company!!

Trustworthy for years

I found these guys when I needed to move to texas three years ago. I was really worried about all the moving horror stories that I had hear and settled on Roadrunner Moving and Storage after a lot of debate. They did a great job then and they did a great job a week ago when they moved me back again. They also moved my parents in the mean time and did a great job then too. They took care of storing my stuff for me in Boston for about a month, and nothing was broken or damaged when they got here. The guys that came to my home worked fast, were friendly and professional, and did a great job. In an industry where there are lots of scary stories... I trust these guys!

The best mover in town!

I had to move long distance, from Boston to SC and heard nightmares about long distance movers. I found Roadrunner and was absolutely blown away by their professionalism from start to finish. They told me if the truck weighed less than the original estimate they'd lower my cost, who ever expects a mover to be that honest but they were! My move cost over $300 less than I originally thought. They took apart my computers and complex phone systems and when I unpacked I found cords taped to appropriate systems, marked as to what they went with. The moved my things into storage and stocked them more organized than I ever could. Terrence and the others that moved me were incredibly kind and professional and handled my things like they were their own. They showed up 3 days later, actually earlier than originally quoted when every other mover quoted up to 10 days they arrived in just less than three. Moving is so stressful, I can't say enough about them. In fact, I trust them so much my next move will be coordinated around their schedule because I just don't want to trust my home to anyone else...

Outstanding Company

This company is so outstanding, I don't know where to begin. They are professional, courteous, competent, honest and fun. They did a move for us from Massachusetts to New York and it couldn't have gone any better. They responded to my emails and telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner and they did everything they said they would do. And they did it well. I never thought that any piece of moving could be fun, but the employees are so wonderful that it actually was. I recommend them without hesitation.

Great Job!

Great company from the first call. They showed up when they were suppose to. They sent three guys when only two were scheduled. They got the job done quickly with no damage and they were very polite. I would definitely use them again.

Best movers in Boston and Interstate too

This is our second time moving with

RoadRunner. Great customer service, can send to several places as we moved, and no dammage.

Also they have great referrals for related services. We had two pieces that would not fit into our condo and they had two services that took care of us and got them in. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Smooth Move

We had a great experience with RR from start to finish. They are clear and straightforward about their pricing, quick to respond to questions, and keep all of their promises. In addition, the crew they sent was courteous and professional (particularly the hard-working two man drop-off crew). In short, I would recommend them highly and without hesitation...
