I moved away for 3 years for business, now back in Irish town. I always tanned here, came to it for great advertising.. new tanning lights, cream always new, all of that and loved the salon. When I came back I wondered if this salon kept up all of the above. I had to comment that the salon is actually better than it was. If that was possible. New look, all new creams, new standing tanning beds, employees are still sweet.

With the economy hitting high lows, they have really good specials. I did notice more tanning in the area, several more since my 3 year lag, I was surprised that anyone would try to compete with this long standing establishment. Nail places now have tanning too. OK.

I recommend my tanning place, they know everything about what your looking for and will give you your dollars worth. Clean, Friendly, and up to speed and

EXPERIENCED. note note...

• Cons: South Boston needs a sticker for parking, I have one.

The Best Tanning Salon Out There ! :)

I love tanning, but could never really find a great place that would get me tan just by the first time going, untill i went ot the tan man. They have ultra strong bulbs and the greatest lotions out there ( always giving us the best). The staff is always so friendly& kind, the owners kerri& kevin deffinatly have a long time experience too. I promise if you go there once you'll be HOOKED. They have a varity of selections of packages also! which are GREAT :) I have tryed there spray tan also and found it amazing, you'll come out looking awsome.

• Cons: tanninh damages skin and could cause cancer.

five star tanning salon

heading south for vacation, needed a quick base, i dont usually do the fake bake, yes, i do, i wont lie.

i love the fake bake. tan man is the spot. when i need a blast, they are the place to check out. you will get a fast tan and love it. i have several women friends and my buddies love this place. i wont trash other spots trying to run a living, but tan man knows what they are giving, they do not do the fake nail stuff with tanning on the side base, they do the entire package for you only tans with bomb lotions. look this place up if you want a tidy disinfected bed to lay on for a hot blast of sun. fake bake salons can be sketchy, tan man is not sketchy 1 bit. go to them up for a sun blast. i know serious say over 20 friends who fake bake here, no bad talk about it ever. been baking for a while now too. i give the owners, the staff, sweeet, a big compliment, hi girls, hope you view this love. you all are great. can i get a free upgrade for this if you see it? jokes. tan man is five star all the way.

Best tanning salon in Boston !!!

i have to say that the tan man in southie is the best tanning salon in boston.

they are super clean, best tanning equipment, best products on the map.

kerri and kev nee are the owners, born and raised in southie, they are very giving, so very much to the town and friends. they are very helpful and loyal to the community.

they are great people who love their customers and are very good to them.

the tan man is a household name in southie, no other salon can compete and i would not tan any place else. i recommend the tan man for a spray tan or UV tan any day ! beach products and salon products.

they do fun spray tan parties, get some friends and make it a theme party, hawaiian, beach, tropical drinks and bikinis. this will be fun when its freezing cold outside. they recommend taking before and after pictures, very funny everyone leaving your house looking like celebrities, tanned and hammered.

i better get a freebe for this review, kidding.

I can't say enough about The Tan Man. The place is very clean, the staff is friendly and the tanning beds are the strongest and most efficient I have ever used. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

tanning in south boston

tan man is highly recommended by me, they are great.

i have tried some tanning spots in south boston, i have to say that they are not tanning salons, they are hair and nail places or gyms, and in my opinion, they do not give the attention to the tanning, not one bit, the lamps stink in all thoses places i tried all up and down both ends of broadway, they were all really dirty with bottom of the tank tanning equipment, advertising the cheapest tans, and that is what you get, the cheapest, well nothing even worth your dollar, then i ventured off towards summer street, i live down the waterfront, i found the tan man in its own world there on the corner. I got to the front of this place with all its courtyard maintained and flowers, walked up the stairs and entered to wonderful girls greeting me with a smile, they took me around and showed me the place, explained all the pricing and i then i tanned, i'm glad i listened to them about the minutes, way strong, in only 4 minutes i saw a tan develop. it is the cleanest tanning salon i have ever tried. the best beds and up rights, i'm not going to burn up this page with all the greatness about tan man, but i did tell them i had to tell everyone about them. i have no time at all for the beach, i work 50-60 hours a week, i need the fast tan and i got it and i will return as a member.

• Cons: street parking was good not great, but all of south boston is street parking, worth the drive around the block

The Tan Man Spa

Just moved to South Boston, found the BEST tanning salon, all top notch tanning and products, they have that Express Tan UV free Airbrushing too!!! They have really great specials, they are very very clean and my favorite part is you have your "OWN" room when using one of their stand-ups !!! Not one of those metal attached rooms either, your own huge room with wood floors, a chair, towels and so on. THIS impressed me much ! The stand-up's are the cleanest, strongest ones I have ever seen, the entire salon is impressive, check it out. The owners are so down to earth and cool. They let you borrow lotion, try out stuff, they even gave me some freebies. Happy Tannin' !!!

This Sun Spa is amazing !!!

I just moved to South Boston a few months ago. I'm a tanning freak and seek only the best in a Tanning Salon. The Tan Man Sun Spa is the BEST place I've ever tanned in. They have me now as a life long member ! They have EVERYTHING !! They have the latest "celeb" hottest service now, the G2 Airbrush Laser Spray tan system ! It's an Organic solution, you get BROWN as can be ! NOT ORANGE, and it's the one that all the stars use, I know because I do my homework. I am here to say that this Indoor Tanning Salon Rocks !

I am a Sun Salon Guru and have tried several Indoor Tanning Salons all over the place !

The Tan Man Sun Spa now has me as a life time guest, I look and search no more !
