A wonderful cast and an awful show

I went to the show at the medieval manor over 10 times... It used to be a regular activity. Over the years, I have had/ fell in love with "wenches" , It really made my heart skip a beat to see "Peggy" when I was finally seated. Though she was not my server I was equally amazed and enamored with my new "wench" "Maggie May." their voices over came a rowdy house (and a real big A-hole manager telling us to keep it down a gripe for another review) and soothed the crowd. The Script has effectively been butchered to the point where the only funny stuff left was obviously the improve by the jester, king, oaf, and all the wenches. The prices have gone up and the show has gone down, you don't even get the free glass any more. I know the economy is in a down ward spiral but this started a few years ago. Were it not for the INCREDIBLE work that Maggie May, and her troop of fellow medieval actors put in on Thursday night the medieval manor would have lost yet ANOTHER loyal subject of the King.
SEE THE SHOW, NOT FOR THE SCRIPT OR THE FOOD, BUT FOR THE TALENTED PEOPLE BUSTING THEIR BACKS AND VOCAL CORDS TO GIVE IT TO YOU.... SERIOUSLY I DARE YOU NOT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR WENCH... DARE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
- Pros: The talented actors...really its the only reason to go...
- Cons: The painful show, horrible food, lack luster management
Great Service

I took my mom here last month for her birthday because she wanted to give them a shot. I can honsetly say that I had the time of my life and so didn't she. The eating most of my food with my fingers (salad) was weird but fun and our waitress Rossa was a laugh a min. This place is not for kids under 13 because of the strong adult humor. I left there with tears in my eyes and a very full belly. The food was great except for the beef ribs, it had too much fat. I'm planning a small party of friends to take there and let them see a whole new side of fun.
- Pros: Great fun and laughs
The city's best, and only, spot for eating like an oaf and laughing like a jester.

In Short
Guests at the "King's Court" are expected to eat with their fingers, and diners occasionally come in costume. A minstrel serenades the audience, which is encouraged to participate in the semi-improvisational show. Not recommended for kids, the show's humor is in the PG-13 range. Dinner shows are offered Wednesdays through Sundays, with Mondays and Tuesdays reserved for private parties.
I loved it!

The Medieval Manor was such a great experience. Where else in Boston can you laugh your self silly and eat completly with your hands without people thinking your insane. It was awesome.
- Pros: great service, entertaining

This is a fun restaurant to go to for a night out with a group of friends. The show during the dinner is humorous and entertaining, but the food was not that great. Its a creative idea, but they could much improve on the quality of the food for the price...either that or get a better chef!
- Pros: Friendly, Great Service, Fun with friends!
- Cons: Food not that great, Price to high
Impressive!

This place is quite an experience! I visited Medieval Manor with a large group to celebrate a birthday. We had so much fun!!! The acting/ entertainment was like nothing else in Boston. I am always looking for something out of the ordinary and this one was exceptional! Beware...you should prepare yourself for a messy dining experience. The eating portion of the night....well that was just too funny! Like I said....an out of the ordinary experience!!!
- Pros: Great Entertainment
