The Rotary Club is a great way for professionals to get connected to Boston. They meet new friends, hear good speakers every week, hear about interesting events etc. It is a great way to get "plugged in." Rotary has 32,000 chapters worldwide and it is a great way to meet other professionals when traveling for work, vacation, or on the road.
Pros: Great speakers, Diverse membership from many different walks of life. Global outlok.

I joined the Boston Rotary Club about two months ago and am thrilled with the decision! I am writing this note to thank the Boston Rotarians who have made my experience, thus far, so enjoyable! I cannot say enough about Rotary. If you are a business professional, and have interest in community involvement or simply want to meet a cross-section of people from the business community, then you should really consider coming to a Boston Rotary luncheon. The luncheons are so much fun! No one takes themselves too seriously (there are always a few hardy laughs at any Rotary event). They have fantastic speakers, whom I have found very informative and interesting. I am able to become involved in my community (a responsibility that seems to be fading from society) and I can meet other business owners/professionals to see if we can make a business connection. Thanks Boston Rotary for welcoming me!
Pros: Great group of people, fantastic & informative spearks, opportunity to give back to the community!
Cons: None!
