My wife and i brought our kids (junior high and high school) in for a late lunch. This was a decision based primarily on convenience as we were staying at the Westin in which it is located. It was a great choice. Very elegant and comfortable dinning room with friendly waiters that knew what they were doing. My wife and I love chowder and made it our mission that week to try all the good chowder in Boston. This was the best we found. There was a hint of something unusual but very delicious not present in others (perhaps sherry or an herb). In any event, it was creamy, full of clams, and delicious. Our order included lobster rolls which were niclely toasted with garlic butter. The lobster salad was also a bit different with some unusual seasoning that added interest without being overwhelming and the lobster was very tender. Herb roasted chicken was crisp, and arrived hot, moist and tender, which pleased our very picky eater. The restaruant itself is also quite beautiful. Next year we will come for dinner.
Pros: attractive setting, delicious food, great service
Cons: a bit pricey, though we felt it was appropriate
