When I moved to Boston, everyone told me that Louis was the local equivalent of Barney's (my favorite place to shop in NYC). They also warned me that the sales staff are notoriously rude, and so far I've found that to be 100% true. I've been in the store 5 or 6 times and NEVER had a salesperson acknowledge my existence. Does the management want to be sending out these negative vibes, or are they just oblivious? It's frustrating- they have great + fabulous clothes, gift items, shoes- but I just can't bring myself to give these people any money. Thank goodness Barney's opened downtown- those of us who wanted to be treated kindly can shop there instead! Reading other reviews makes it sound like the folks at Louis are nice to *some* people, but they're certainly not to me.
Pros: Gorgeous clothes, parking, unique items
Cons: rude sales staff
