I went dress shopping last summer with my mother. We were both thrilled...until we walked into Priscillas. From the moment I stepped in there, I felt out of place. When I asked to set up an appointment, the very rude saleswoman asked me when my wedding was. When I told her September of 2007, she actually laughed in my face. "You do know that all of the dresses will be different at that point", she asked, indignantly. "Yes, but I am not looking for a trendy gown, I want something traditional". Figuring that would shut her up, I put on my best smile. "Well, Miss, we don't usually book appointments for weddings that far in advance". My poor mom just wanted to get me out of there for fear of ruining my first wedding dress shopping experience. So, we left, and the rest of the day I felt deflated.
