The Scene
With over a dozen locations in the greater Boston area, diners don't have to travel far to enjoy a fast, affordable meal of brick oven pizza, fresh salads, and pasta dishes. Regardless of the location, expect to see many families--kids are given raw dough to play with--and young couples on dates. Servers are more than happy to keep refilling baskets of the excellent oven-warm rolls. A pedestrian wine and beer list is available, though most diners opt for soft drinks or water.
The Food
Bertucci's deservedly prides itself on serving up consistently tasty pies with above-average toppings like carmelized onions, roasted zucchini and portobello mushrooms. Because they're wood-fired in a brick oven, the pies have a wonderfully smoky, crunchy crust. Standard antipasto plates and large salads are popular choices to start a meal. Desserts (boring tiramisu, creamy gelato) are better enjoyed elsewhere.

The problem with giving an overall rating to this place is that the pizza is good and everything else is awful. I made the mistake of getting lobster pasta -- pretty much the worst pasta I've ever had. But the pizza is consistently pretty good.
- Pros: pizza
- Cons: everything else

We have 2 Bertucci's in Marlboro. The 1 on Rt 20 is awful-slow, loud...yuk. But the other is a gem! Excellent service, quick considering how mobbed it always is and best of all, it LOADS on the shrimp on my (2) favorite Pizzas! The pasta and salads are always great. I tried the salmon last week...that too was superb. Somewhat pricy compared to the corner pizaa shop, but worth it once a month!
- Pros: service, quality
- Cons: loud

We have tried every Pizza from Boston toNH. They are all good. But bertucci offers such a variety and they are consistently excellent every time. It is worth the money to get delicious pizza every time.
We prefer take out.

Pizza and food are totally over rated here. Pizza,s
are hit or miss (mostly miss). toppings are skimpy
and not always as fresh as advertised and have experienced several soft, mushy, soggy crusts. I can't beleive this place was rated ahead of santarpio's.
