bang for your buck. If you're indian and want authentic indian food this is NOT the place to be. The chicken was still raw and bloody in the curry. Besides that their chicken tikka masala tastes good (but its really hard to mess that one up) the other dishes need some more flavor. Definately doesn't cater to people that know good indian food.

i recommend the place for cheap indian food, for when you're broke and have a craving

Worst experience. The food here is not at all good.I could forgive that but for the service rendered by the guy(I dont know if he is the owner or the manager) at the restaurant. On one occasion (my second and last visit) when I tried to explain (I wasnt complainig at all) him that the dishes tasted a more sweet ( that day I felt the butter chicken tasted like chicken dessert!!!).He was blatant in saying that his customers are mainly americans and students from Berklee and NOT Indian people. He was DAMN rude.

That was too much to take.Me and my friends will never ever see that restaurant and do not recommend.

Good Food, Average service. This restaurant came very highly recommended, but did not quite live up to my expectations. I made reservations for 6 people and had invited my boss and his family to join me. When we arrived we were told our name was not in the reservations list. When alternate arrangements were made, we were offered seating for 5 instead of 6! I had to cut a very sorry face with my guests. The food is not all that great by Indian standards, however my American guests went away happy. THey will make it mild if you request it so. Quantity of food served is ample. Good ambience, however it can be a bit noisy. If you can get a window table then the view to Mass Ave is great.

Fabulous. I'm new to Indian food, granted, but I've been to quite a few places in the last year. This place has the best value and the tastiest food around. Try the $5.95 lunch buffet for an incredible value. Come back for the dinner menu for wonderful dishes. The chicken tikka masala is perfect. And this is the first place that actually makes things mild when you tell them you want it mild. The staff is very attentive and friendly. My girlfriend and I can eat an appetizer, split a tikka masala (with unlimited rice), an order of nan, & 2 mango lassis for under $25 INCLUDING tip! Highly recommended!

Great for students and Professionals!!!. I have been going to Bombay Caafe since 1998 and it is almost 5 years now. The lunch buffet, even though is not worth raving about, leaves you satisfied because of the incredible price and the quality of food which is quite good. The people are great and if you want better food, just come at night during dinner and try the kormas or the tikka masalas...great all around for everyone!!

Worth the wait!!. After finally getting served we received our bread with our meal. However, other than the service or lack there of the food was excellent!
