I find it very suspicious that the previous review was written by "teapartyjr." Only an employee of the company would think that the prices there are right. J. J. Teaparty knows their customer base well and that customer base is executives that work in Downtown Boston. Their prices are far from right. They are usually the highest price on every item that they carry. Most times you can get a better deal just walking down the street to one of the other shops or waiting until the weekend and traveling to a baseball card show. J. J. Teaparty's customer's are willing to pay more to not have to travel. That's not the main reason that their rating is so low though. When I was younger, I often worked and had money burning a hole in my pocket. A couple of times I made the mistake of trying to spend that money at J. J. Teaparty. They don't want anything to do with customers who don't look like they have a lot of money. I was ignored in favor of customers in fancy suits who spent their time opening packs and leaving the majority of the cards behind because they weren't insert cards. After that happened a couple of times, I decided to no longer give them any of my business. I've seen it upon returning to the store with other friends who were treated the same way. I'm sure that they don't miss my business and I'm much happier shopping at a local store where you get much better treatment.
