Watch Out!

I went into the store (naively) and purchased (for $150) what "I thought" was a genuine Larry Bird Indiana University (IU) '78-'79 replica basketball shirt. After purchasing the shirt - I went home and did a trademark website search at the United States Patent and Trade Mark Office <www.uspto.gov> to see if "All American Collection"and "Vintage Sportswear" (stitched into the the jersey) were active or dead trademarks. The search indicated that the trademarks DID NOT EVEN EXIST. After my search my only thought was that the shirt was NOT GENUINE and COUNTERFEIT.

After the trademark research, I brought the IU Larry Bird shirt back for a VALID merchandise credit and the OWNER REFUSED EMPHATICALLY to take the return. He said that the item did not count as part of his regular stock in the store and that he sold it to me through his own personal inventory. The owner tried to pass off the jersey as manufactured by the legitimate company Mitchell & Ness; NOWHERE on the shirt is that label.

I do not recommend doing business with this with this outfit. They have totally underhanded practices. They did not honor their merchandise credit return.

Let the buyer or seller beware as these people do not give you a fair value or fair treatment but instead prey on your ignorance and leave you scorched.
