Great store and tailor

by williamgs

I needed a couple of new suits for this fall, and came here after reading many wonderful reviews. Bill, who is Frank's son, put me into 2 terrific new all season wool suits and a blazer last month. They fit incredibly well and I have recieved many compliments when I wear them. I definetely recommend this place if you need a new suit or sportcoat. I also saw some great cashmere overcoats there as well that he was just getting in. I will be back for one of those soon. His prices are very reasonable and they include all the alterations at no charge. His suits start in the low $200's

  • Pros: Great suit selection and service
  • Cons: none

Very Accomodating Store!

by New Yorker in Boston

I have been living in Boston for over 2 years. Being a college student, I start off wearing my misfitted "daddy's suit". When it was time to buy a suit of my own, I was looking for a tailor in the area. I stumbled upon all the great reviews of Frank's and decided to try it.

Great craftsmanship and even better selection of suits!! He tailored the Baroni suit I bought for a European fit, held it in his inventory for 5 months(I forgot), and gave me a friendly phone call to remind me to pick it up.

I was able to negotiate 2 times as I paid cash. His recommendation was also very personal to my body type and age and not salesman-like. I never knew I was a 38S!! Though the brand is not very common, it is "legit" Italian hand craftsmanship. I never felt such smooth wool material on a suit! The lapel also rolls over instead of having a hard-crease, a sign of fine suit-making.

When it comes to suits, a college kid like me was impressed by the old-school philosophy of Frank's. It is the right place to shop for decent suits and not be taken away by H&M and Calvin Klein's advertising campaigns.

  • Pros: Quality suits at a low price!

Visited this place 2 weeks ago and got 3 new suits and a couple of new dress slacks. Great selection. After picking them up , I couldn't believe at how well they fit.

My coworker has been shopping here for over 6 years and swears by them. Now I know why. Beats the big departments stores. Customer service can't be beat nor their prices.

  • Pros: Great service and price point
  • Cons: closed sundays

Great Tailors

by ChrisP2368

I needed a couple of new suits for work as I had put on a bunch of weight over the last year. I am glad I visited Franks store. he did an amazing job helping me pick out a couple of new suits. He even tailored them at no charge, which is stores policy on any item he sells. I bought an Italian suit an an american one for about $525 for the both.

He even was able to salvage a couple of my older suits as well and let them out to fot me again. No high pressure sales tactics, which is rare today. Great prices and service.

  • Pros: Excellent tailoring and wonderful Men's clothing

excellent store!!!!

by RichardRodriguez

I have to rave about this small establishment. After reading past reviews, i came into this place last week needing to get a couple of new suits. I wear suits atleast 3 times a week for work, and my older ones were getting pretty old. I am glad to say that all the previous reviews were dead on. The selection of suits was better than I expected. Frank had over 40 different selections in my size range, and i was able to get two well made wool suits for less than $500., and that also included all the tailoring. I bought my last couple of suits about 18 months ago at another store, and then had to pay over $85 each for just the tailoring. I can't believe that there are stores like this still around. The customer service here is tremendous. After my suits were tailored, I changed my mind on putting cuffs as opposed to plain bottoms on the slacks, and Frank even retailored them for me at no charge. Can't beat that!!! I will be back in the future for sure. i am bringing in my brother for a suit next week as well.

I visited Frank's last month after reading about it on citysearch. i must agree with most reviewer. This place is a must for when you are in need of adding a suit or sportcoat to your wardrobe. I needed a couple of new suits for work, and I bought 2 beautiful suits for about $500 dollars and that included all the alterations. ( I spent $80 on my last suit just to have it altered at another tailor last year). I also purchased a winter cashmere and lambswool overcoat as well. I get great compliments all the time on the suits. I definitely recommend Frank's. I will be back for another suit or two this spring.

A Fine Class Act

by redsoxfanatic

Great place for Men's dress clothing. After reading about the great reviews about Frank's, I decided to try him out when I needed a few additions to my wardrobe as my company changed to a more formal dress code for the fall. I purchased a couple of great sportcoats and slacks, as well as a new suit.

After wearing them for about a month now, I am glad to recommend this store. I have gotten more than a few compliments when I wear the new clothes. They fit terrificly

and the price was very reasonable. Less than $280 for my Italian made suit and silk and wool sportcoats for about $140

each and Frank's tailored them at no charge. I went to Mens Wearhouse and they wanted almost $100 to tailor just 1 suit.

I will be back here for another suit next month.

I must agree with most of the reviewers. This shop is terrific.

Great suits and sport coats at very reasonable prices. The alterations came out great, and were included in price. I was able to buy a terrific suit and silk sportcoat for about $400.

Frank's also retailored another suit of mine that never really fit well, and it now fits like a glove. I really cannot recommend this place enough. Quick turnaround as well.

  • Pros: Service, prices, tailoring
  • Cons: Not open on sundays

Awesome Men's Store!!!

by GarySSullivan

Excellent men's shop. If you are looking for a new suit or sportcoat, i definitely recommend this place. After reading past reviews, I visited last week and must agree with most past customers. Great service and very reasonable prices.

i bought an Italian made wool suit, a blazer and 2 slacks for a terrific price of about $700. and all the tailoring was done for free. My last suit purchase at men's wearhouse was for $349

for a single suit, and then they charged another $90 to tailor it for me. I will be back to Frank's in the summer as I will be getting married in the fall, and Frank's will be doing the wedding parties attire. He carries a nice selection of suits.

  • Pros: customer service, prices, expert tailoring
