GHB
by mobileuser1122 at Citysearch
What made this night unique and special? No idea because they dose your drink so you are full of GHB and can't remember how you got where-ever you end up... So have fun and don't drink anything if you go there.
- Pros: None.
- Cons: They love dosing dudes with GHB...
Really Fun

I love this place. Ive been in right before their after work rush, and bartenders are super friendly, and engaging. They will hang out and talk while they make you a great mai-tai or martini. One bartender showed me how to use his i-phone, another taught me how to say "I'm drunk, where is my hotel" in Japanese. GM is friendly and funny. When its busy, the music is great, and its a really attractive yet unpretentious crowd. Roof deck during the summer is a definite +.
- Pros: great cocktails, friendly service
AWFUL SERVICE
by CSMobileUser at Citysearch
Drink was good service was friendly but so slow it was despicable. 30 minutes for a wrong drink, another 30 for the fixed drink to arrive. Spoke to small dark haired man who looked like managment and he was extremely useless. very sorry I took my clients here, I know ill regret it forever.
DONT GO - SPIKED DRINKS!!!
by NiamhMcMahon at Citysearch
We went here 0ct 23rd and my friend was spiked!!! The "manager" was really rude and didnt give a crap - told us that sort of thing didnt happen in her bar... wasn't at all interested in helping us, even though my friend could barely stand. Place is also way over priced and has no atmosphere, DJ is also rubbish...
Don't Go!

My girlfriends and I have never been so horrified by a bar's treatment of patrons. A few of my girlfriends and I were there the other night and decided to sit out on the patio- as we were literally walking to our table, a boucer actually yelled at us to sit down or we had to leave. Over the next serveral minutes, if one of us got up to use the restroom or go to the bar, he would yell again. We finally asked to speak with a manager. When a man who identified himself as "the owner" came, by he defended the bouncer saying if we didn't like the treatment we should go and that we should not expect and further service from the bar. We couldn't believe it and actually thought it may be a joke until we tried to order drinks. When I got up in attempt to use the restroom, I was informed that if I was even seen at the bar, I would be escorted from the building. The only reason we stayed the full 45 minutes was because we were there for a birthday party. I have never heard of this happening at a bar and registered for this profile in attempt to keep anyone else from having such a horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and never go to this bar!
- Pros: close to a few GOOD bars
- Cons: service
Worst Bar EVER

Just went to Market last night for NYE. Arrived at 8:30pm, the website said it was open from 8pm-2am yet when we got there they weren't ready for us. No one knew what was supposed to be happening- they had us following them around, couldn't find the person to give us the tickets that we had already paid for. We were sent to get drinks at the bar yet there were no bartenders to serve us and when one finally arrived at the bar she was extremely rude, looked at us and then shouted to the other employees "did anyone tell these girls that we aren't open yet?" We also weren't allowed to go up to any of the other floors even though when we purchased the tickets it had said that it included 3 floors. One of the bouncers pushed me out of his way. We also stood in line for the coat check for 25 minutes. We will never go back to Market. It was a terrible bar with rude staff. Don't waste your time or money on this place.
Great Atmosphere, Friendly Service and Really Good Music
by buakaktan at Citysearch
I have been to this place on a thursday night to start the night off and the vibe I got was really positive. The drinks were really tasty but a little bit on the pricey side. Other than that the employees were friendly and helpful as well as the music was great. It is good to see a place not too packed with college kids to relax have a few drinks and enjoy some good music.
Unfriendly, lousy service

Went in on a weekday night, ordered a draft and mixed drink on a credit card. Came back 15 minutes later and closed out., and was charged 50+ dollars, for 7 or so drinks, plus food. Bartender said it was "your" card and that you have to pay. Took a bit of an attiude with me. I explained the situation and she mentioned she would get who took my order. 5 to 10 minutes later the other bartender came back and I explained what happened, and she eventually corrected it and removed the charge. Said someone else had a similar name and it was a mistake- which seems unlikely given what my name is. I found it hard to believe that it was an honest mistake, given that there were only 20 or so people in the place, and the way it was presented. No apology was given. They did remove the charge though. Who knows, maybe people try to rip them off and lie about how many drinks they have had was the reason for the attitude. I'm never one to complain, and completely an easy going person, but this was an unpleasant experience. I wouldn't go back, and nor would the other people I was there with.
Also, around 10 pm, they closed the windows and shut the curtains in order the create the effect that the place was full, when like I said, maybe 20 people in the place total. This happens in a lot of places, where they make a line to hype the place up I suppose. Sure enough after leaving, a line of about 8 people were waiting outside.
Paying patrons totally unappreciated
by pubgirl007 at Citysearch
Went to Market for an after work cocktail and it's the typical financial district crowd. The inside decor is relaxed, leather seats and distressed wood decor. Service is average. Outside I was holding a parking spot for a friend and a man took over the space and said that he worked here. To my dismay he told me I could park a block away where the garbage truck was parked when it left. Obviously paying patrons are regarded as less than important than the Market's employees. You'd think an establishment that valued it's customers would have them park in front rather than having the inconvenience of walking a block away. Needless to say, WE took our business some place else(The Vault located directly across the street) where the paying patrons are given exceptional service where we were more than happy to spend our hard working cash.
- Pros: The inside decor and flat screen TV's
- Cons: Workers are given first priority to park in front of the establishment
