My name is George Papas and I have lived in the Worcester area for over 20 years. I was looking to buy a 2 and a half karat diamond engagement ring. After going to several stores I felt that I was being pushed away and ignored just because of my accent and looks. I just felt that I was not treated correctly and that no matter how much a person wants to spend they should be respected. I then went to Shavarsh Jewelers and ended up spending 4 hours sitting with the owner, Arpine, and going over all of the different options I had. When you become educated by salesperson you really understand what you are buying and you appreciate what you are going to purchase. If someone else I knew told me to go to another jeweler I would tell them that “If another jeweler would give me a half price discount I would not purchase anything from anywhere else. I highly recommend Shavarsh Jewelers

There is always another side to the story. My family and I have been doing business with the family for years and are extremely satisfied with how they always understand the design and style of the custom work i have had them make over the years. Now with the new owner Arpine I am even more satisfied because she is a great help for me and is another Shavarsh. I want to thank her for all the excellent work she has done.

Once this jeweler was a top choice in the area, but no more. Avoid at all costs! Do not buy at this store! They no longer stand behind their product. When Sharvash, the original owner was in charge, he would stand by his work and honored the client relationship. Now after years of ownership changes and the business now be handed down to his daughter Arpanine, the serivce and customer relations have gone downhill. After spending over $15K in jewerly there, I returned after 2 months with a defect that should have been easily fixed by them. Not only did they refuse to fix it, but they wouldn;t even discuss it in a civil manner. They instead shouted at us. The manner in which we were treated and engaged was outrageous. I have never in my life been treated so badly My wife and I stormed out of the store and vowed to share this experience so others would not be burned. These guys are not only interested in a quick buck and don't care about client relationships.
