We went in a group of 4 and had a wonderful experience. Note that we are food enthusiasts and try most new restaurants in Boston. Whoever reviewed the service to be rude must have made a mistake - not only were they FAR from rude, the service was exceptional. Staff was knowledgeable and went out of their way to please us. Everything we ate, from bread onwards, was delicious. The pasta trio was unforgettable as were the desserts. Comparable to the finest in the North End, Da Vinci is a must-see.
Pros: Great food, service, ambiance
Cons: Parking

Great Atmosphere. Had a great time with my wife. We started out with some homemade appetizers. My wife had Bolognese and I had the FIlet Mignon. Both great dishes. Served on time and with a knowledgeable staff member's recomendation for wine. We had an amazing experience. The dinner was finalized with a nice Creme Brulee and Crosttata deserts. My wife and I will defintely make reservations to come back.
Pros: Atmosphere,
Cons: The wait if you do not have a reservation.

I finally made it to Da Vinci with friends to break the code. i am please to say that we succeeded cause we enjoyed a wonderful service and an excellent Italian meal. The Decor was beautiful and well polished with a modern touch to it. Excellent food presentation, pasta tasting a great selection :oP<3 not to forget the souffle. We appreciated when Chef Peppino walked around and made sure that we were happy and everything was ok. I highly recommend and will be back again.

I went there with a friend during the first week of opening, I felt it was very disorganized. The waiter messed up our bill and over charged us for an item we never ordered. The food wasn't anything close to spectacular for the price. I won't be going back anytime soon. The only thing Di Vinci has going on is its atmosphere.

The veal in this restaurant is going to be a classic for a long time to come (hope the chef reads this and keep it in the menu). The service was attentive >Overall a good expierence.

Cons: closed on sunday

I have visited Da Vinci with few of my co-workers on a Friday night. The restaurant was very busy, but they still managed to sit us down in a timely manner. The wood was great, very flavorful. Good selection of wine and I personally think the best Tiramisu in the city. I will definitely go back.
Pros: Great service!

Beautiful decor, great location and prices, and very attentive service - that almost perfectly describes this new Italian restaurant in the heart of Boston. I went there during the week and was very glad I came. The food is delicious, and the chef even made the effort to come out and talk to us about our experience. I highly recommend the home-made pastas and the pollo da vinci was excellent. Once you are here also don't forget the chocolate souffle!
Pros: great food, location, decor and ambience
Cons: the music

I went to Da Vinci with few friends on Friday and it was very good. We had to wait for 25 min so had a drink at the bar. The cocktail list was very creative and the bar crew very friendly. Our waitress Sanaa was great, very helpful and attentive. We saw review on Boston Herald and tried the dishes that Matt recommended and we were very happy. The Grilled Portobello with fontina cheese was full of flavors and the Veal Chop was cooked as I asked. My friends tried the pasta which we were told was made in the restaurant every day. It was delicious. I wish that Sanaa told us that the suffle takes 20min. We wanted to try it but had to go with other selection since it would take to long. Ohh well next time.

I usually can find something that I like in any restaurant and this was no exception but I did have to look. The crowd was ok but the service and value was not. I thought the food was average or below and the service was rude and slow. If you're looking for italian in this area, walk a few blocks to viamatta
Pros: nice location
Cons: bad food and service
