I recently went into automax to look a few new to me cars. I havent yet bought one but I have to give Automax some praise. The sales guy I had was extremely helpful. He wasnt pushy and took the time to show me all the cars I was interested in. I will most likely be purchasing my new used car fro automax.

Pros: Great staff, great selection

Cons: didnt have the exact car i wanted but they are willing to look for it

Stay away from this dealer. This dealer will not reveal ANY issues with their cars at all. You have to be a car expert to pick up on flaws. Then when you do pick up on a flaw and ask them to fix it, they do a quick half-fix. I had to completely redo my brakes a month after I got the car after they "replaced the rotors and pads." There's a myriad of other issues but I think you get the point. Go to a reputable car dealer for a used car (ie...a dealer that sells new cars also). It's kind of ironic that this place's website is onlynicecars dot com. If they have to tell you they have nice cars, then they probably don't. Stay away and save a lot of money!

I've been looking to buy a car for a while and been to many car dealers that tried to make me all kind of deals. Finally, a friend recommended New England Automax and from the first time I've been there I knew that Automax is the place where I would buy my car. There are good people there and a wide variety of cars to choose from. Best regards, JerryTr

I've been looking for a good car to get for my son's birthday and at Automax I've manage to find something good for not so much money. Automax is the best place to get a good used car in my opinion and I recommend it to everyone. Best wishes, Gary, O

I just wanted to send a quick note to share my thoughts about my latest experience with the service department on Thursday April 3rd. I first spoke with Bruce on the phone about a strange noise that I had noticed while driving my car. He was very upbeat and pleasant and scheduled me in for the next day. When I came in the next day Chris took my car for a drive and quickly diagnosed the problem. Both Chris and Bruce were very accomidating and were able to squeeze me in and repair my car that day while I waited. Chris was very informative and thoughtful and made the repairs quickly. I was very impressed with both Bruce and Chris as well as the other friendly and polite employees I also met while waiting. I am so pleased to have found a service department that I trust and am confident in. I will with out a doubt recommend your company to anyone I know that maybe looking to make a purchase or have a repair done. Thanks again! Jocelyn Carroll

A genuine up-front deal By Mike W. I'm slow and careful when I'm spending my money on a car because cars are so expensive. I talked to friends and family and a couple mentioned this AutoMax outfit on Rt. 9 in Framingham. I checked them out online and was skeptical because I had bad experiences when buying cars. They made me feel relaxed and their no-haggle prices meant I didn't have to go through that horrible fight over what I had to pay. The cars are all pretty nice, from what I saw, but I didn't look at all their big lot or their place in Marlboro. I got a Pathfinder SE and loved all the comforts on it. They were also quite helpful with my trade value and they shopped around and got me good payments. They even switched my license plates + registration and got my Pathfinder inspected right there. I don't know how come everybody doesn't do it this way. I couldn't believe I could actually feel good and comfortable about buying a car. I'd be happy to send people to AutoMax

prices that beat everyone else out there on good cars. didn't look at all of them though. just wanted an economy car because its so far from Lowell to work in Marlboro. Got a deal on a Civic that other dealers didn't want to give me. The price here is the price so I didn't get a headache beating up a salesman in a suit. I got credit here too. And they changed my registration. Nobody else makes it easy when you buy something expensive and I don't know why. Got this at the Marlboro place. They have more at Framingham but I didn't want to drive a lot more. Worth it to drive to both places from a long ways away to get an automatic deal. Should call first to see if car you want is still there because the good ones get sold too fast. I almost missed mine. Glad friends told me about AutoMax.

Pros: Easy to buy a car and price is a good deal

Cons: Every town needs an automax

A happy car buying experience! Amazing! No torture! The price is the price so I didn't get home wondering if I really made out. I could see their prices are way lower than the other guys already. Great looking cars-- lots of them. Helpful website that tells a lot about the cars. These cars are used but pretty good and these people work hard to pay attention to them. Like buying anything else: Pick something you like, try it out, buy it. Fast! This is no average car place! They gave me the feeling they wanted me to drive around happy in a better car... and I am! Regular people. Place doesn't look like an expensive palace full of expensive suits I pay for because they're hiding factory rebates from me. Love the Honda with sunroof and alloy wheels and CD and the leather seats heat up! Easy monthly payments they made sure were okay for me. They have two places-- I went to Marlboro near my house first and Framingham next and saw what I wanted. Plenty of cars and vans and SUVs and many others and prices so I knew I would find what I wanted. They check the cars so I know I'll go home okay but bought a super waranty anyways. I drive by them a lot on Rt. 9 near the McDonald's and Ford place near the college and you should stop in and see cars you will like a lot.

Pros: Low price of good cars and plenty to like

Cons: Like too many of them!

What a pleasure it was to buy car. When it comes time to buy a car again you will get our business because everyone was so helpful and answered our questions completely. Besides, everyone stayed after hours just for us. That's what I call service."
