I work in downtown Boston and used to rush home on my lunch hour to walk my lab Iggy and quickly let him do his business and rush back out. I was very hesitant to use a dog walking service because where I live in South Boston I used to see walkers with 5 or 6 dogs at a time or see dogs tied up outside a house while the walker was in getting the next one! Unbelievable! Then my neighbor had told me about Gopher Dogs and how they walk all dogs individually and that you have the same walker every time. I decided to give it a try and started out just 1 day a week and now I use them Monday - Friday and I couldn't be happier! Our walker is fantastic and has never let me down once. I am so relieved knowing that Iggy is getting one on one attention and he seems so content and happy when I get home. I could go on and on... Gopher Dogs has been a lifesaver!

I had used a family friend as my dog walker for several years. Was heartbroken when she relocated. A friend recommended Gopher Dogs, and I couldn't be happier. Our walker is exceptionally attentive, pleasant, and reliable. Daily online diary is a great feature! Business owners Chris and Kelly are very responsive. Online billing is a snap! Highly recommend this business.

I've been using GopherDogs for about 3 months now and can't recommend them enough. They provide a professional approach with a personal touch. They can accomodate almost any type of walking or sitting program you could want. Their flexibility is amazing and can add you to their schedule on very short notice. A bonus is that they will detail what your dog did during the day on a customized online diary.

When I moved to Boston, I needed a reliable dog walker to take care of my lab while I was at work. I went through a number of different companies and had to fire each one for various reasons like failing to show up, leaving my apartment messy, or returning my dog with injuries, such as gashes on his legs (I shudder to think about it now). These walkers would also either walk my dog in a large group for a short amount of time, or just take him to a park to run around, which I did not think was proper exercise, nor safe for I have a special needs dog who cannot play rough. I thought all was lost until I met Kelly and Chris. They not only answered all of my questions, but they tailored the walks for my dog and his needs. Their website was one of the best parts, for I could easily pay, schedule a walk, and read the 'doggy diary', which told me what happened on their walk, and also included some pictures which was fun! Right away I noticed a difference in my dog's behavior, for he was more relaxed and content when I arrived home from work, and his well-being was of course the most important part for me. Kelly and Chris went above and beyond when I called them in a panic one night, for I was stuck at work and wouldn't be able to return home for hours. They quickly went over to feed and walk my dog, basically saving the day! I do not know of any other company that would do something like that on such short notice. I have since moved from Boston, and very much miss the services of Gopher Dogs. I highly recommend this company and the great job that they do!

Gopher Dogs is the best dog-walking service I've found! My schedule changes constantly and they are always flexible and friendly. They write "dog diaries" every day and post them online, so you can see what your dog did that day. The people that work there really love animals and I am always comforted to know they'll be checking in on my little one when I can't be home!

I have only good things to say about Gopher Dogs. We had a great dog walker in Chicago and were worried we wouldn't find another here in Boston but Gopher Dogs has surpassed our expectations. I was impressed from the start with their friendly service and have not been disappointed as we continue to use their service. They are extremely accommodating with last minute requests and I know that Penni is getting good care when we need it. We have not yet used any boarding service but it is nice to know that's an option as well. I highly recommend this service to anyone who is looking for reliable loving care for their dog.

What can I say, Gopher Dogs Boston and their amazing staff of walkers is the best service I've had the pleasure of working with. I've been a happy Gopher Dog client for over a year now and my dog Beau and I couldn't be happier. Beau has had walkers in San Francisco, Philadelphia & now Boston and never have we had such caring and attentive service than what we've received from Gopher Dogs. Beau loves his walker Jessica and their time together. I especially love the online diary entries where I can read about his daily adventures. On top of his regularly scheduled weekday walks I've always been able to count on Gopher Dog to take care of Beau when I'm scheduled to be out of town, when he is unable to make the trip. They are also incredible in a pinch, if I have an emergency and unexpectedly need service, whether it be for a one time visit or an entire weekend. They've been my saving grace and I always know that Beau is safe and getting the loving attention he'd have if I were there. I'm personally not a fan of putting him in a kennel so having the option to leave him in a familiar environment and receive at home care is hugely comforting. You truly can't go wrong choosing Gopher Dogs their competitive pricing and professional, responsive and top notch loving service. Beau & I are Gopher Dog fans for life.

Gopher Dogs is the best! I live alone and travel a fair amount for work and Gopher Dogs has always been there for me when I've needed them - even if it was a last minute request because my plane was delayed or I was stuck somewhere unexpectedly. I am confident that Gopher Dogs always pays special attention to my dog, along with all the other dogs they care for on a daily, weekly, or even one-time basis. The pricing is fair, and the customer service is fantastic. I've never left Gopher Dogs a message without receiving a call back within the hour. Their care for my pet is much appreciated. It's a great service and I would recommend it to anyone who wants high quality love and care for their pet when they can't give it themself.

Gopher Dogs are the best!! My dog Gilligan just loves them. They are so reliable and organized. They will come whenever you call - even if it is the last minute. I would highly recommend them.

I travel for work on occasion and have used gopher dogs to walk my 2 dogs. They have been very reliable and are available last minute which is very helpful. I feel confident enough to leave my dogs overnight knowing that gopher dogs will walk them in the evening and show up early in the morning to feed and walk them. It's been a great stress relief. I would definitely recommend them.
