family favorite and great delivery service

Finally, New York style pizza in Back Bay. We have lived here for 20+ years and this is our family favorite. Great, on-time delivery service for large orders (my kids' sports teams are forever having events where we order a dozen pizzas). Also, family owned - probably why the ingredients are so top-of-the-line and yummy; the family truly takes pride the food its serves.

• Pros: friendly, family run business. top-of-the-line ingredients
• Cons: very popular, so sometimes a wait for a table

Good pizza at a great location

I have been to Bostone Pizza a couple of times with friends and we have all enjoyed the thick, square-shaped slices that they serve there. There are various options - even for vegetarians. The pizza crust is really good, and different from the various chains across the country. The prices are also reasonable. This is a great place to eat when you are walking around on Newbury Street.

• Cons: tiny place

Pizza parlor has Sicilian style pizza and a full menu of subs as well.

Best Pizza Around

I happened to stop into Bostone Pizza on a whim last night after work and on my way to a meeting. WOW!! I think this is the best pizza i've ever had in my life. I've grown up in the Boston area and really, this is it. I had a regular thin slice. the crust is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, HUGE slices, reasonably priced and the staff are great. YOU MUST GO HERE!!!

• Pros: The food was incredible!
• Cons: Don't really have any, but I did take the T and wouldn't recommend driving -- no parking

Best Pizza on Newbury Street

Excellent Pizza - rivaling the famous Pinnochio's in Harvard Square.

I tried both the regular and sicilian, and both were amazingly fresh. The two most important ingredients in pizza (other than the dough) which can make or break it are the cheese and the sauce, and both ingredients on Bostone's pies are chosen perfectly. The cheese has a wonderful taste. I work on State Street and would definitely travel all the way to Newbury Street to eat here at lunch! It's worth it.

Unbelievably fresh, not greasy - almost seems healthy pizza!

I'm from NY and my husband is from NJ so we have high standards for our pizza. It is SO hard to find good pizza in this town, but Bostone just made it very easy! The ingredients are SO fresh you can taste the different flavors. My favorite is the spinach and feta, it is loaded with spinach you feel like you're getting your veggies while indulging in pizza - almost too good to be true! The crust on their sicilian is light and airy but not laden with grease like so many pizza's in this town, but its not doughy like typical sicilian. I brought a couple of slices home to my husband one evening and even reheated he thought it was the best pizza he's had in Boston.

The salads are also very fresh and made to order, the place is clean, and the friendly, smiling service far exceeds any pizza or other take out joint. You're treated like a person, not just another order number. I go there with my toddler and don't worry about her touching the tables or feel the least bit guilty feeding her the spinach pizza - its one of the few ways I can get her to eat green veggies.

Best Pizza, Subs, and Salads in BOSTON!

I must say, Bostone Pizza has been our favorite place for delicious pizza, subs, and salads from the day they opened their doors on Newbury St! Their sicilian pizza is deep, doughy, and always amazingly fresh! I love their specialty pizzas, the Buffalo Chicken is fantastic! I cannot say enough about their hot subs, my boyfriend and I can never decide which to get so we usually split the meatball sub as well as the sausage, peppers, and onions sub! Don't miss their salads- they are wonderful with the subs or with a slice of pizza! (My favorite is their antipasto with salami and provolone piled HIGH!) I have to say Caryn is amazing- always so delightful and helpful! One more time- EAT AT BOSTONE you will LOVE every bite!

Wow. Fabulous awesome pizza and I am a pizza snob!

I am so psyched that Bostone Pizza opened in the back bay! Coming from New Jersey, I am a huge pizza snob and dislike MOST pizza. However, I am obsessed with Bostone Pizza. It is amazing and we get it all the time! I love the regular (thin crust) plain, but they do an amazing job with the Sicilian - it is like nothing I have ever tasted, truly a gem. They boast having 12 varieties available per the slice, which is quite unusual. Also, the restaurant is nicely decorated and immaculately clean, and the staff is super nice. Great addition ot the neighborhood!

Yummy!

I had a slice of slice of Spinach, Tomato and Feta pizza and couldn't believe how GOOD it was!! Very tasty - flavors bursting in my mouth. The crust was crispy, but the dough was soft deep. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and try more of the different kinds of pizzas! I vote this the best pizza joint in town, hands down.

Our favorite "pizza place" after our first visit !

Excellent food. Their pizza, pasta and chicken dishes are excellent. Everything that I have ordered at Bostone Pizza has been 100% enjoyable. This restaurant was our favorite "pizza place" after our first visit. The management and staff are extremely friendly. The restaurant has recently been renovated and the atmosphere is very comfortable and modern.
