I've been going to Salon 44 since I moved to Charlestown about 5 years ago, and it's been consistently great, even more so in last few years with Allison as the new owner. I've had them do everything from color my hair, to apply a permanent straightener, to special glossing treatments, to blowing out an extremely curly and thick head of hair and I've been very happy every time. I've also been to almost all of the stylists - Allison, Britney, and Cheryl are all great, as are the rest of the staff. It's a very friendly and comfortable environment, reasonably priced, and I highly recommend it!

Just moved to the area and had to find a new hairstylist. Always a scary thing, especially having color. I had a very good experience and the color came out exactly as I wanted!!! The stylist was very nice and understanding to my nervousness. I highly recommend anyone new to the area to stop in.
