Rude Staff and Poor Quality Service

The manicure was OK, certainly nothing special. It chipped badly after less then two days, so I had to go back to my regular place for a touch up. The woman treating me (i think she was the owner) kept going on and on about how I take care of my nails, in an overly condescending way for my taste. She was pushy and tried to sell me on other things I didn't want. I don't know about you, but I go to the nail salon to relax, not to be schooled or sold to. WONT GO BACK!!

Great atmosphere

Not a Boston native, I made a reservation here for me and two friends while vacationing. I was able to make three back-to-back appointments with only a week's notice. About a 20-minute walk from Harvard Square, we found it easily. The decor inside is great, with brightly painted walls and upbeat music. All three of us were first-timers for a manicure so a bit unsure about what to expect. Michelle was wonderful, giving advice about general nail care as well as helping us choose complimentary shades. The atmosphere was very welcoming, as conversation flowed easily and it had a real small-town-neighborhood-feel. All in all, I was about 95% satisfied with my manicure (it chipped within minutes and the coverage wasn't even on a few nails), though understand that no one can be a miracle worker... I recommend it.

The owner, Michelle Phoenix, is funny, smart, and knowledgeable about all things "nail". She and her staff are professional, friendly, and attentive to their clients needs and desires. The shop is clean, well maintained with an interesting, bright decor. You know that your hands and feet will be expertly cared for and look beautiful as well.

The Perfect Pedicure

As a runner it is critical that I care for my feet. Wet Paint Nails keep my feet looking beautiful all year round. I love the atmosphere and the camaraderie in the shop. They do a great job of pampering with tea, magazines and great conversation. More importantly the shop doesn't smell and they are fastidious about cleanliness and safety. I highly recommend this shop to all.

Fit Feet is WONDERFUL!!!!!

After having my first child, I figured it was time to get back in shape! My feet took a beating during my pregnancy and then from my subsequent running. I visited Wet Paint because they offered a "fit feet" pedicure - OMG - It was FANTASTIC! At the end of the pedicure, my feet were smoother than my baby's bottom! :) He was jealous! Seriously, my feet looked and felt fantastic. All the icky hard stuff was gone and it lasted forever. I make a special trips out to visit the saon and now that I know they do not use harsh chemicals - I will continue to visit them! The fit feet is great for athletes and pregnant people too! Thank you Wet Paint!!!!!"

• Pros: no smelly "fake" nail aroma!
• Cons: parking, but there is a spot in the back!

Totally awesome spa!

The best you?ll find! The shop is inviting and your experience there is like the comforts of your own home! Michelle is hospitable, funny, and pleasant, but most of all her expertise makes this visit a must for any man or woman!

A great spa for Men too!

The environment is cool and relaxing, so it's a great place for men to get the pedicure service they so desperately need! The pedis are great, your feet will look amazing, and the customer orientation and personalized attention will make you feel right at home.

And for the customer who is conscious about health impact of cosmetics, Wet Paint carries an entire line of nail polish for the environmentally conscious.

The place to go for manis and pedis!

This place is lovely -- from the welcoming window displays to the warm, funky interior. The staff is quite knowledgable and friendly. The owner welcomes people with children and has activities for them. For mani and pedis, look no further!
