With its wired rooms and high-tech meeting spaces, the hotel caters to business travelers and groups. Tourists enjoy a convenient base from which to explore the city, with the Aquarium and Quincy Market right down the street. The massive spa and health club includes an indoor lap pool and steam room.

The IC is doing things the right way. Top-level service, and other than the chilly winds off the water, it's a great location. Maybe the nicest pool and gym I've seen in a Boston hotel -- I didn't want to leave.
