BEWARE OF SLEEK MED SPA (Burlington Ma).

First, I recently viewed a commercial advertising Lipo Disolve by Sleek Med Spa. It shows an older portly lady with wrinkles on her face bragging about how great her saggy arms came out after getting the procedure done to them... I would like to point out that she works at the Burlington location. I have seen her many times there while I was waiting for my appointments. What type of company does this? It looks really bad for them when they have use a biased person who gets paid by them weekly to act like a happy customer in a commercial.

I have not one good thing to say about this place. They charged me thousands of dollars for laser hair removal that DID NOT work. During my consult, a woman with the same light skin, light features similar to mine guaranteed I would be hair free... Studies have shown that people with features like me do not respond well to laser hair removal. I brought this up and she assured me that their equipment is the best and many people (with similar features like mine) have been amazed by the results. After all the appointments, sadly I have not seen much of a difference except the hairs are thinner. I was promised HAIR FREE!

Scheduling is a nightmare.... and they kept me waiting on an average of 30-45 minutes from when the appointment was made before I was even seen like my time isn't valuable. I always went there stressed out because I knew I would be left waiting. Not a good spa experience at all.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD

I have been going to Sleek in Natick and there are 3 things ive got to say:

1. the quality of the treatments depends on who does them. Most likely you get technicians that dont care and do the job only half way.

2. They are always overbooked so unless you get the appointments months in advance you are prob not going to be able to get the dates you want.

3. the girls in the front have no manners and dont know how to treat customers. They think that they are superior or something like that.

Not so sure...

So for 30 minutes of consultation period, like 3 minutes were spent actually diagnosing and determining the treatment and the rest was pretty much forcibly convincing me why I should get the package of treatments. It was very uncomfortable as a customer plus I had to wait extra 20-30 minutes before the treatment even though I've already made an appointment for that.

In terms of treatment, there wasn't enough explanation/description of what I should expect and what I shouldn't. I wasn't given any instructions on how I should treat my skin after the treatments and they merely suggested buying more products.

The treatment itself was okay I guess. I'm not sure since it has not been so long.

Overall, I just wish the staff was more friendly and professional at the same time.

Great place! I miss Sofia:(

i've been coming here for micro's and peels for a long time now and I love the results. Sofia left and i'm really sad about it. She was always so thorough with everything she did and made sure to do a good job. I've been there since and I don't feel like i'm getting the quality peels and facials I use to get with sofia. Last time I was there the lady that did my peel didn't put enough chemical peel on. I went home and my face was the same as when i got there. I was dissapointed. i'm not sure if I want to keep coming here. Sofia where did you go?

Fantastic Results

Now that nice weather is here decided to go for laser hair removal. I had several treatments and the results are amazing. Also, I was so pleased with the staff and results, that I also had some botox done. The results were great. I am committed to improving the quality and look of my skin, and Sleek is the place to do it.

Better off at a Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon's

I am in my early 40's with good skin, and always gone to my dermatologist for peels, retin-A, etc. However, I saw the advertising for Sleek Med Spa while walking through Natick Collection and decided to go in for the "free consultation". Being in the sales field myself, I politely stated to the high pressure sales associate I only wanted two sessions of Botox to assess the results.

The following week I went in for the Botox injections, which I have never had before, for some forehead lines, which honestly are slight but noticeable to me in photographs. I was initially happy with the results after two weeks, the injections smoothed out my horizontal forehead lines. However, less than five weeks after the treatment, the lines "popped" back!! I thought botox was supposed to last for two-three months? I believe the dosage they used was weak, even though I was charged around 800.$ for two forehead areas. I would have been better off buying a creme facial filler at the cosmetic counter or CVS. I am disappointed in the quality of the services, and how they are administered.

Come here for Sofia only!

The only reason why I go here is because of Sofia. She is the most professional, thorough, and patient person I know in the industry, and she genuinely cares for her customers and their satisfaction. I've had a couple of treatments with some of the other employees here, and I was very upset with the experience. Regina is too much of a pushy saleswoman, and coming from a sales and customer service background myself, I thought that I could teach her a thing or two about being tactful, customer-oriented, and not breathing down my neck about buying products. The other employees I've had (I won't mention their names) lacked the thoroughness that Sofia takes very seriously. The 5-star rating is for her only, so be sure to request her when booking an appointment!

• Cons: Some of the other people are rude, pushy, and unprofessional

Great place, Great profesional and knowledgable staff

I was always wary of sleek medspa, but under management now by Sasha i love this place again! They have gotten rid of a couple employees who were always cold and made you feel uncomfortable, and now there staff is very knowledgeable AND professional. They dont try to sell you wut you dont need and are very considerate to your budget. Erin especially is great and i will continue to book all my appointments with her. I highly reccomend this place now and Erin as well.
