best kept secret in town

my friend turned me on on Super Fusion about a year ago and I have been hooked ever since. The sushi is always fresh and take-out service is always speedy and friendly. The tiny, yet cozy space lends itself to the gritty mom and pop feel. The spicy tuna rll is excellent!

My buddy and I went there for dinner last saturday and the food was outstanding and our server was friendly and helpful. We wanted to try something different and she recommended the chef special maki and it was great! We bought our own beer which is a plus and had a wonderful meal. The best part is our server told us there a Super Fusion II in Watertown that just opened and has beer and wine avail and a larger seating area. We are sure looking forward to going there to try!

Super Fusion 2! wonderful food horrible service!

I was in Super Fusion in brookline ordering a takeout and I found out theres another one in Watertown! I was so excited cuz theres beer and wine and its bigger! So the following Tuesday I went there for dinner with my husband. First of all let me say the atmosphere was great! The food was great! The plating was stunning. Everything was great except for the service! Im a regular at Brookline and the service there has always been wonderful. Always friendly and helpful no matter how busy they are but our waitress that night was not attentiveand not friendly at all. Yes, it was very busy that night but that doesnt give her an excuse to be unfriendly. Also we felt like we were being forced to try their special that night. She kept pushing it on us. through out most of the meal it was the host who was taking care of us. At one point we really needed some more water and the server was no where to be found. Lets just say I would rather go to Brookline and wait in line for a seat then have to put up with that kind of service.

wont be back

I ordered a bunch of food here to go. I picked it up and took it home, I should have checked it but they staple everything shut and I was hungry and wanted to get home. Included in my order was an avocado seafood salad and when I got home there was no avocado! I called to let them know, they were apologetic but they don't deliver and I don't live close by so they put my name on a list and the next time I come in I could get a free one. That's annoying, but fine. A month later and I'm in the area, so I call to get it, and they tell me there's no record of it so when the manager is back in a few days they will contact me about whether they will replace it. That's unacceptable.. There's no manager at the restaurant now to fix this?

Additionally, the taste of my sashimi lunch box was completely absent. After a few bites I realized all I was tasting was the soy sauce and wasabi. There are too many sushi restaurants in the area to waste your time and money here.

Use to be my favorite delivery sushi, BUT not anymore!!!!!

Super Fusion use to be my favorite sushi delivery spot, but now that they switched over to night owl, delivery service... it has been a huge let down! The prices increased and the delivery time has doubled!!! Try going to Fin's on Chestnut hill ave in brighton!!

very very good sushi. The food is very tasty and fresh. The size of the food is very big and well worht the price. you should consider going there.

Some of the BEST sushi!

You might not expect much from their small space on Washington Street but don't let that fool you. It is some of the BEST sushi in the Boston area. I love getting take out here - when I have sushi cravings, I will jump on the T just to pick some up. They do have a few tables and a counter in there and you can get a good view of the chefs in action. But best of all, it's a great value!
