Clueless staff, good food and drink

I went to the Diva Lounge last weekend. There were only five full tables, but that didn't stop the waitress from completely ignoring us for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, a bartender is fixing her makeup and texting behind the bar. A group leaving Diva snarked to us "nice service, right?" Not a good sign. We finally had a busboy flag her down for us. No apology or explanation for the wait. I don't know if this was her first time ever serving drinks, but here's a tip: don't awkwardly hold the drinks in front of your customers and expect them to pluck them off the tray. Also, maybe check back once in a while. It sounds crazy, but people will often have a second drink on Saturday night. Service aside, the food, drinks and atmosphere were good. I'm just not sure Somerville needs a place with $10 drinks.
