The thought of lash extensions seemed foreign to me. I came across LuxLash while reading Boston Magazine and lash extensions caught my interest, yet I was still unsure. I decided to book for a consultation. I arrived and the girls were more than helpful and explained to me in detail and made me feel comfortable and confident with my decision to try the lash extensions. I layed down in the chair and treated myself to a manicure and perdicure while getting my lashes done. I felt so pampered! The spa is very clean and beautiful. The girls are so professional and my lashes look BEAUTIFUL. I already have my next appointment booked with them. Wonderful lashes, wonderful girls, wonderful Spa!

I have never had good eyelashes, and have always been envious of those that do. NOW I can have them too!!! I look and feel beautiful ALL of the time, not just when I spend that obligatory hour of maintenence... The people at LuxLash have done an outstanding job with a brand new beauty service that no one else has been able to offer in a good way. Other places I had tried were scary, sometimes painful, and the lashes never lasted. This is the best beauty tool I have ever experieiced in a relaxing setting where the staff is fun, caring... and everything is so white and clean... and I always look forward to coming back.

Pros: The most beautiful you will ever feel! Great Service, Staff knows what their doing

I just visited Lux Lash to treat myself, I spent 400.00 to get beautiful lashes, BUT not a pleasnat experience. Yes I love my lashes and will keep them up but not at LuxLash. What was suppose to be a relaxing spa atmosphere for me, was almost an anxiety attack . The staff were constantly talking over me to each other, borrowing each other's tools, having conversations amongst themselves and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable. It was not a spa like atmosphere at all., i was not really not interested in hearing about other clients . A wondeful concept with what I consider very unprofessional technicians

Pros: MY Lashes looked beautiful

Cons: Price, Parking, unprofessional Staff

I won a raffle prize for Lux Lash while shopping at the Prudential Center in Boston. I was so excited to try a new beauty treatment-- I immediately made my appointment with Erin. She was (and is) a terrific lash technician. I absolutely LOVE my new lashes. I highly recommend the one week "touch up" appointment (FREE!) to add a few longer or fuller lashes and to go over your eyelash care, answer any questions you may have, etc. For those reviewers complaining about the lashes not lasting--you may want to think about how you have cared for your lashes (excessive hot water, moisturizers, emollients, oils, rubbing your eyes, etc). They are synthetic, so require different care.

Pros: Beautiful Lashes

Cons: Pricey (but so worth it!)

I heard about LuxLash from a friend who had her brows done there. Her brows looked awesome, so I decided to stop by and have mine done too. I was only intending on getting my brows done, but I loved their lash collection, and decided to get my lashes done too. I had a manicure and pedicure while I got my lashes done and was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep during the service. I can honestly say that I LOVE MY LASHES! I didn't know what to expect, but they look GORGEOUS!!! The girls who work there are beautiful and are very friendly. My brows look great and I have had several comments on my lashes; I will definitely return. I would recommend LuxLash to anyone who wants quality service and a staff that knows what they're doing.!!

Pros: Friendly, knowledgeable staff, great lashes and service!

I started getting lash extensions last spring and LOVE them. I do not wear mascara much anymore and always feel a little bit more "put together" than before. The process does not hurt and is very relaxing -- although you need to be patient (takes 1 1/2 hours). LuxLash is very good at this and has been doing them for me steadily this year. I have found the people there friendly and nice -- although there has been some turnover. Each new girl I met seems nicer than the last, and committed to doing a good job. I have had the lashes for about 4 weeks between touch-ups and the cost seems reasonable. No different from hair color, etc. I recommend these for moms and professional women who want to always look good without doing full make-up every day.

My, my... LuxLash must have some of her neighbors feeling very threatened! I for one, went to LuxLash because I had my lashes completely ruined my Michead cosmetics on Newbury; I figured since LuxLash advertises that they specialize in doing lash extensions, they might know what they are doing and help me fix the gaps in what lashes I had left; and all for lashes that had only lasted me two weeks. Not only did they fix the horrible job from Michead (I was in tears!) I have been going every month to get my "lash fill" for months now! My friend went to someone at 8 Newbury and had a bad experience there too. The person performing the extensions would not listen to what she wanted and kept making her outer eyelashes so long they looked stupid and fell of within two days; in the end, my friend spent a whole lot of money with nothing to show for it. As discouraged as she is about the loss of cash, she went to LuxLash, and they even helped her remove her clumpy lashes with a whole new absolutely beautiful set!!! She is so happy, and she looks gorgeous!!! Take my word for it, THE FACT IS, LUXLASH IS THE BEST!!! There are a few copy cats that have stolen from her to use her ideas; but I guess thats what happens with great ideas! Ask to see the lashes from anyone who says any differently. They are also very customer oriented, but they did just move to a bigger space AND are being attacked by a throng of lash and brow perfection seekers; when they dont answer the phone, it is because they are hard a work creating beautiful lashes for the customers they work hard to fit in, but be patient, they will call you back.

Pros: The best thats out there, pampering service and atmosphere

Cons: Still working buildout flaws in new location, needs more staff to handle their success

The longivity of the lashes are underestimated... I had this great service done before I went back home to Texas (I travel here for business) and so far they have lasted for 9 weeks. Like I said...wow. Granted I may be unusual but this glue REALLY lasts. All you need to do is just watch after them a little bit. Anywho the whole experiance is something that I suggest to everyone. Granted it takes a little chunk out of your wallet but in my opinion its worth it. Also on the side note the customer service was outstanding...they made me feel like I was the "bell of the ball" so to speak.

Pros: confortable ambience, great service

Cons: parking was not pleasant

Beautiful lashes with my beauty nap, in a gorgous atmosphere, brows shaped to perfection and fingers and toes polished ALL AT THE SAME TIME from start to finish in just over an hour! WHO DOES THAT? I LOVE LOVE LOVE my lashes and plan to never be without them; my makeup routine has all but disappeaed becuase I no longer need eyeliner or mascara, and I even use less lipstick and blush becuase my eyes look so great!!! My eyes have NEVER looked as beautiful as this becuase I could never get my mascara to look this good and believe me, I have tried every beauty tip and every mascara on the market! The company is new and they are doing so well they have already expanded into a bigger space; therefore, you may have to leave a message and be patient during their transition ... but believe me, they are worth the wait! Ladies, believe me... this is the BEST beauty service I have ever come across, and out of all beauty services available, dollar for dollar, this is the best deal in town!

Pros: Knocking out five maintenence services at the same time while I nap... (Lashes, Brows, Mani and Pedi)... and Botox (too bad I can't sleep through the Botox too!)

Cons: May have to be patient for your appointment and Newbury street parking
