Excellent gem tucked away from the hustle & bustle of Boston
by bumblefreak at Citysearch
Sweet, creamy pastries, fabulous crepes, and delectable salads are just some of the phrases that come to mind with Cafenation. I'm not usually a big coffee drinker, but I have enjoyed everything I've tried here. That and the free Internet and great customer service keep me coming back for more. They could only be better if they were to open up shop across the street from my apartment.
- Pros: Service, crepes, salads, coffee, pastries, ambience
- Cons: Location - too far from the center of Boston
Just Awesome!

I have yet to have any food or drink that I do not absolutely love! It's a great cafe atmosphere. It does get busy on the weekend so it'd be great if it expanded it's space, but otherwise I highly recommend going! They use fresh and wholesome ingredients and the price definitely matches the quality of food you get - not too much and not too little. I really enjoy their iced coffees and availability of Sugar in the Raw and various types of milks as you add everything yourself. And it's got wifi!! Grab a "frequent flyer" card so you can get a free meal after 9 purchases. I think I'm addicted... ya it's sad.
- Pros: Everything!
The coffee is ok, but I can't support the owners
by littlekif at Citysearch
It's a coffeeshop, no better or worse than any else in the area. However, one of the owners (I presume) has a Cafenation branded car with commercial plates and lives in my neighborhood and has nearly run over several residents, including myself. I mean, REALLY! If you're dumb enough to be a reckless driver, don't do it in your own neighborhood and don't do it in a car branded with your business's name that you're supposed to be using for commercial purposes. Duh.
Brighton Center coffee bar also serves an assortment of crepes, salads and paninis.

In Short
After supplying local restaurants and cafes with coffee beans, the owners of Cafe Nation decided to open a proper cafe. Besides gourmet coffee and espresso drinks, the cafe provides young Brightonians with freshly made crepes with various sweet and savory fillings. Fruity smoothies, fresh salads (crab and avocado) and designer sandwiches (tofu and mango chutney) round out the offerings. Those with laptops enjoy free Wi-Fi access.
My favorite hangout in Boston
by brightondiva at Citysearch
Yummy crepes and cookies. Good quality coffee & special coffee drinks. Salads and sandwiches are also very good.
The atmosphere is very pleasant: all ages--students, older neighborhood types, etc. Jazz & singer/songwriters on some Sundays. Art by local artists.
Best part is that the staff is amazing. They make an effort to get to know your name. It's a friendly low-key place to come and read or meet up with friends.
Try the chai lattes--my favorite.
Cozy and cute

I used to just grab a cup of coffee (great roast!) on my way to class. Now I stay and study at least two nights a week. Staff is super friendly and coffe refills are free!
BRIGHTON CENTER NEEDED A PLACE LIKE THIS!!!
by wildgil at Citysearch
Its about time! Having lived in the area for several years, I've always yearned for something more than just the local greasy spoons. Now I finally have it. Everything about this place is great. The savory crepes are creative, tasty, and filling; the paninis, although not too many to choose from are de-li-cious!...but the one thing that keeps me coming in on a daily basis are the coffees that they offer. Never dull, full bodied, and all well balanced, its a java junkies heaven. Oh, and they have free refills!
- Pros: Bang for Buck, cOfFEeeee!, Jazz
- Cons: crowded on weekends
